Descale is one of my favorite products. My TDS is high and even though I finish with DI rinse it’s good to know this goes after any minerals that were missed. I use it every quarter with my ceramic decon wash.

DIY Water Spot Remover is nectar of the gods for unclogging coatings. Safe to use too. Just wash normally, spray the product, wipe it in with a damp microfiber (don't flip it) and then rinse off. Safe on glass, just work out of the sun.

I know you're obsessed and love crazy clean, but it is a rally car. I recall visiting a car buddy in my Evo some years back. It was the first time he saw it, so I was apologetic about how dirty it was. He said ... "No man, it's a rally car ... it's perfect. If you had a dirt bike, I wouldn't expect it to be clean." Metered bucket filler. You crack me up, that's a good one.

Those Buff Brite vacuum attachments are awesome. I've been using the smaller one for a few years. They're still a consumable item (they sell the rubber part separately) but they last a lot longer than they used to with the changes they've made. You probably won't need it with your vehicles, but they sometimes benefit from an anti-static agent with dog hair. P&S Paint Gloss (one glancing spray) is the hack that a lot of detailers use the reduces static and helps the tip go across the carpet.

Hey Matt, I live in the Chicago area and in the winter, road salt is always a concern. I know you don't like WeatherTech mats but for those of us in Chicago Winters WeatherTech is a godsend. I've always been so jealous of you folks in Florida who don't really have to wash the underneath of your car unless you have a circumstance like you have in this video. I've been watching you wash cars for years and I don't think I've ever seen you deal with the underside of a car. So this is a very special video for me! As a side note, is waiting for a few stop lights to keep your car cleaner really such a bother? As far as physical media is concerned not owning any CDs anymore physical media absolutely rules. And it's making a comeback as people cannot deal with streaming services taking things away from them that they love. I know BlueOS has no provision for CDs but my God if you got a CD transport feeding into an amplifier there's just nothing better. Oh yes there is. You have a turntable in your office, there's nothing better.

WeatherTech mats are junk. There are several all-weather vehicle-specific molded floor liners out there that are much better. Husky for one, and also TuxMat, which is what we put in our new RAV4. I have WeatherTechs in our CX5 and they are just awful. They warp and curl, don't stay attached to the retaining clips, and don't provide nearly as much coverage as the TuxMats.

Try holding the mouth of the gallon jug at the top when pouring that way air can get into the jug and help with the splashing. It seems counterintuitive but it works with gallon cans of mineral spirits etc.

Buff-Brite works great on removing dog hair from your carpets in your vehicle and backseat liner. It's a major time saver cleaning inside your vehicle after transporting the dogs.

MZ313291 is the part number for the MR style OE mats, but as stated they were discontinued just last year unfortunately.

Manufacturers are required to provide replacement OE parts for ten years. But the tooling required to manufacture those parts will be passed on to another facility. Suppliers for Assembly plants only make parts for new vehicles. Usually someone else makes those parts after that. Not always but mostly.

Should really try laboscosmetica purifica instead of carpro descale. Descale is only a PH of 6 which is really weak. Purifica goes down to a PH of 3 and up to 5.

As much as I wished McNeil and Weather Tech made a premium product... they don't. They just make a product. I found out years ago, any decent upholstery shop can make matts out of whatever material you desire. Just so long as you have the vehicle for them to shape the matts to. I had some made for a Nissan 300ZXTT I owned and had them cut using a Lexus material like what was in the wife's comfy GS. He even embossed the 300ZXTT logo. Looked factory but much better feel-good material.
