What porosity is your hair? I notice with the amount of gel and water that you put in your hair your hair still sort of sits up whereas with mine I have a similar texture 3c/4a but when I put that much water or gel in my hair its just gonna weigh down until its dried since it’s low porosity.

Probably Medium to High Porosity. But the porosity of your hair can change based on how you treat it. I usually have to do the same with my hair to seal in that moisture. My hair porosity is high.

Idk how you work so fast. My wash days take 6-8 hours. Detangling is the longest part and takes like 3 hours minimum I also only need to reset it around once a month

I wish I could use this tutorial, but my curls arent as clean as you’re. How do you know your hair type? (As I want to figure out mine) I have some nice curls but only when washed.

look up hair charts on google it should show you different hair types as well as their names for it some hairs can be mixed hair types like your front and sides might be 3b but your back could be 3c or 3a

Been following for awhile, this video is precisely how you should film All your hair tutorial videos , just keep it about just the hair , whenever you start to go on a tangent about other things I click off . You can condense it , I may not have the attention span to watch a hour .

Ok, finally, someone who knows how to give constructive criticism. Everyone is different when it comes to paying attention. Me personally, I loved watching the real-time video because of the fact that I can sit there and go along with it. He shows everything, leaving me not confused at all. Whereas, a shorter video, I leave with some questions about certain techniques, you know what I mean? I personally have no problem with the way he films; I like when he talks about other things, but again that’s just me. Keep doing what you’re doing koby, or don’t, you can’t make everyone happy.

I don’t think all of my tutorials should be like this because some people really do enjoy the more entertaining videos (those tend to do better) but I do think that there is a very valuable and important place for videos like this as well where it’s strictly about the process and results so I will definitely make more! Thanks so much!

I will definitely start being a lot more intentional about providing a mix of these different types of content because It’s been incredible to see/hear that there are folks who prefer to see every little thing and I did really enjoy making this video!
