@@OnlyOneJess I wear my twist out the last week. So I have the twists in for 3 weeks (moisturizing it every week) & on the 4th week I take it out & wear my hair out & wash it at the end of the week. Just my way of trying to enjoy my hair while I protective style as well 😅

Just a little tip; what I do is bring the garbage bin right at the shower entrance, so I just stick my hand out and throw the hair away. I personally don't like to see hair on the wall. No judgment, just a quick tip that might help for anyone who feels like I do.

The brown patch is PROBABLY from your face wash Jess. It happens to me. I use a wash tht contains 10% benzoyl peroxide & pretty sure Thts the cause of my brown edges.

@@ToxicFunnyNes Peroxides (there’s different types) are more effective at killing certain types of acne bacteria than salicylic acid. Also peroxide and bleach are completely different chemicals. Peroxide is significantly weaker than straight bleach.

Haaaaay Jess 😘😘 two things I learned in this video, as I've been wearing mini twist as a protective style as well. One, take twist out further especially in the front to prevent more tangles in the wash. Two, rewet hair to each section before applying product, I also have low porosity hair. Thanks sis!!!❤❤❤ But I'll do that in 2 weeks cause theres no way I'm not rocking this 💣 twist out!!😁❤❤

Just watching this. Regarding the hair turning brown…the same thing happened to me .. the front of my hair is protein sensitive so if you use it or protein based products don’t leave them on too long or you should mix them with a moisturizing product. Two strands turned gray but I pulled them and they didn’t come back grey. Also, use Rosemary essential oil with your hair oil. It stops the hair from graying or slows it down.
