I have a great idea for a video subject. Many people starting POD get the deer in headlights reaction when they go through their Printify control panel for the first time, and they don’t know what settings are best for what, especially the charging sales tax fields Printify has, as sellers don’t know if they’re paying the sales tax on ever POD coming from Etsy, or if the seller still only pays the wholesale price, and Etsy is responsible for collecting the sales tax on the sale. Overall, videos about the ins and outs of the Etsy and Printify integration process, is what new sellers need most help on getting set up just right.

Thanks for doing this. This is exactly the issue I’m facing at the moment. SwiftPODs quality hasn’t been great in my experience. I had a reprint come back bad quality . I have a T-shirt that after 3 washes looks very worn and I washed inside out on cold water.

I have the same experience with SwiftPOD and want to switch. They just do not last in the wash, so many reprints issued because of it. Super disappointing because they offer the most colors options!

This was great! It helped seeing the textures really up close too. Another video idea may be about the method/process if you ever have to edit listings down the road. For example, what edits you should do through Etsy and what you should do in Printify. (Ie if you tweak your design, if you want to change shipping providers).

Hi Cassiy, Thanks for putting out great content, I have learned a lot from your videos. I have a quick question - as a new shop, should I use Printify Or direct integration with the print provider? I am just not able to figure out this that - For example, I see Awkward Styles is available as a direct integration to Shopify and also as a provider from Printify. I do see there is a difference between the costs when going directly with Awkward Styles vs Printify, but Printify integrates with loads of other providers. When just starting out, what is best for me ? Choose Printify and select Awkward Styles as the provider ? Or directly integrate with Awkward Styles ?

Thanks for doing this test, it’s really helpful. Plus you bring up a good point I’m stressing the Karen instructions so that the customer can enjoy their garment for a lot longer. I was wondering if you’ve had any trouble with print quality to start. I designed a red sweatshirt with white lettering, and when it came, the lettering was so pale that you could see the red right through it making the lettering actually be pink. Print is sending me a new one to see if they can correct this but I thought I’d ask you as well.

Hello Cassiy how are you? I'm new to your channel and Etsy in general and I watched some of your videos which by the way are soooo helpful so thank you so much 🙏 but I have one important question for you, so you talked about how we should use mockups for our t shirts and other listings and not printifys mockups and I agree they are boring, but when ever I go to printifys and put my design on a shirt it only gives me their mockups for publishing and I don't know how to put the mockup I purchased from Etsy please help
@CassiyJohnson Жыл бұрын
The Printify mockups will get published to Etsy, then on Etsy, you delete the Printify ones and upload the ones that you purchased! Here is a link to my free mini course to walk you through all of the little steps of making your first listing! www.cassiyjohnson.com/etsypodlaunchguide

Thank you for providing such valuable information through your videos. I really appreciate your content. I would like to inquire about a specific aspect of my business. Could you kindly explain the recommended methods or best practices for obtaining phone numbers from clients on Etsy to facilitate the order process on Printify? Currently, I have noticed that phone numbers are not displayed in the order details on Etsy, but Printify requires this information during the order placement process. Since I plan to offer personalized items, I need to find a way to collect this information manually. Any guidance or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you once again for your valuable insights.

I notice some pixels missing in letters after washing in the inside out 5 washes test. No pick deal but you can tell if you look sharp. So if you want that old favorite shirt look fast don't turn them inside out. :)

After looking up doing print on demand, any option I choose for what to sell, the price is above what people are selling for on Etsy by quite a bit. Take 12 ounce insulated wine tumblers for example. They sell with shipping for $20 and change but yet people one Etsy are selling ones for like $15? I’m confused to how people exactly make money selling print on demand products. Any insight would be great.

This test omits a crucial fact. Black is the most popular tshirt color. Prints on black need the white underbase for the top layer to stand out on the black. It's much easier printing on the lighter color garments, and the prints last longer on lighter colors. Even with this, after 5 washes they all look faded. You say that DTG shirts are rated for 50 washes? That is pure promotional BS from the print companies.
@JasmineSwann8 ай бұрын
