Ghee is literally washed in a "Copper vessel" 100 times to create a luxurious, therapeutic & deeply penetrating ghee cream. The making of this cream is technically a fat splitting process, where, fat is hydrolyzed with water to obtain free fatty acids and glycerols. During the entire process, the ghee texture which is in its lipid (fat) form, comes in contact with water which is the aqueous (liquid) form. As the ghee comes in contact with water & copper particles from copper vessel, the particle size of fat granules gets reduced. With multiple washes, the water particles bond with ghee particles, breaking the ghee lipids into smaller particles. This increases the moisture content of the ghee cream. With the entire process of 100 times washed ghee, done repeatedly, the granular composition & the typical smell of ghee evaporates, converting ghee’s oily consistency into a smooth, silky, deeply absorbing & moisturizing, non-oily therapeutic topical cream.

Also you would be saying a healing mantra during this process. No silver container and certainly not plastic. Turning must be with a sumboo. Copper only for best results. 🙏🙏

Can you make soap out of ghee?
@kasturipillay66262 жыл бұрын
Yes you can make soap. Add to good quality plain soap with no preservatives. Melt on low heat. Five parts soap to one part ghee.. Keep in containers that has no holes. So as not to waste. Use for hands and face only. 😊😊

This ancient ayurvedic technique of washing ghee 100 cycles per wash for hundred washes is known as shata dhauta ghrita. This act of washing ghee is done in big copper vessel by another small copper vessel, and the person doing the process must be in peaceful state of mind, either must be chanting some mantras or a healing music must be played. The product so obtained after the completion of this process is so potent that it can cure any skin ailment be it the most deadliest once psoriasis, eczema etc or any other like melasma, rosacea etc.

very well-explained video! thanks for taking the time to make it and share it. I think you are using a stainless steel container, correct? This would be awesome to me b/c I cannot get even close to any copper. I keep y fingers crossed for it to be stainless steel! Question: how long does it last if I keep the smaller containers in the refrigerator? Again, thanks for sharing this super well-explained video!🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

I made this, and I loved it. Pure olive oil or any other carrier oil is too heavy for my skin and hair, but this was perfect. I added cinnamon too for added benefit.

I think using the ice makes it harder to work with because you are thickening the cream with the cold. Thank for your version of this recipe. Everyone else says the smell leaves. I wonder if copper pot and really mashing it like i have seen others do is what pulls the smell out. You make it look easier by counting each swirl of your hand as one. I've seen most others consider one wash as each time they pour the water in

I think there is something wrong with the way you made it. Because it does not become this thick. When I make it it is fluffy like a moisturiser

Just curious, what kind of vessel did u use? Is it copper vessel? I saw it in other vids mentioning abt using this..
@kasturipillay66262 жыл бұрын
Should be copper only for the best results.
@startreedancer1412 Жыл бұрын
She just made it differently than you did. That doesn't make it wrong. Because she used ice, her water is extra cold, so it makes perfect sense that her cream came out thicker.

I'm curious but why not put pure ghee on the skin? What are the benefits of washed ghee? Surely there is more nutrients in the unwashed ghee?

I think to make it odourless. I use ghee for moisturizer but I don't like the smell of it on my skin that's why I googled and found this vid.

Washed ghee has more benefits for external use. And the texture is perfect, rather than unwashed ghee

Hi thanks for this great video. I bought and washed some goat's ghee about 25 times and it worked normally. I then started making ghee from salted goat's butter (all I could find). I'm half way through washing it and it's still grainy. It's whiter but not coming off my fingers easily. I wondered whether you could maybe offer any advice please?
