Absolutely brilliant! I thought I'd have to buy a new integrated machine but all it needed was shown on this video. I'm a 75 year old woman and even I could understand it. Just wonderful! Thankgoodness my sisrer advised me to check out problems via KZbin. Well done the young man in this video. From a grateful pensioner in Dundee, Scotland. xx

Spent half a day checking error codes and running diagnostics, cleaned pump filter housing, but did not work, suspected it was a problem With the door lock on our zannussi zwf16070w1, BUT THEN i i came across your video, I cleaned pump housing as per your instructions , with machine tilted at an angle and drained excess water, and now running again, Thank you so much for the help

You saved the day and probably a new washer! Never even knew it had a filter! Took it out, full of grit, 2 coins, 2 hair bands, one was wrapped around the pump cog, had to pull it out of it! Plenty of towels needed!! Now our washer is working again! Fabulous! Thank you so very much :-))

Anytime my front loader has ever glitched, it is the drain. Once, a child gave me a small shell (I’m a teacher) and I left it in my pocket. The shell had wedged itself in the little blade that pushes the water out. The second time, I made the mistake of being cheap and diluted my liquid soap. I had to drain and reset. My son is an engineer and he always says, “look for the most simplistic thing and work up the ladder and stay calm”. Both times I fixed it myself. The hardest part was moving the washer/ dryer combo out from the wall and cleaning up the water spillage as my front loader gives no clearance between the drain and the floor. I wish someone would install lockable wheels on these machines- it sure would make life so much easier.

Jay --- Also check the drain hose coming out the back of the washer! Mine was filled with some gunk - maybe because the tube had a dip (like a trap) before looping up into the wall hole. It became completely plugged so the point that my drain motor & impeller broke. After cleaning the drain hose (with a dryer lint brush --- that's some irony there!) and some dawn soap, it is now perfectly clear. Bought a new drain motor for $18 on Amazon and replaced it myself. All is good now!

The title image solved it for me. My washer was rocking by 3/8 of an inch. So it would spin to medium speed, be unable to balance the load due to frame wobble, then never spin to full speed. When we bought the washer used it came with that foot missing and the stated condition of being unreliable. This is the first time for me in 5 years that it was unreliable. Sticking a piece of gravel from the driveway under that corner fixed it. Now to get an actual foot with a lock nut.

Good morning from Houston, Texas. The video information / advice regarding the front load drain and filter was absolutely correct. The tip on tilting the washer back excellent, there was more water than I expected. After clearing the filter the washer started operating. Initially, I had gone to the online manuals and the codes indicated out of balance; after following the suggestions without success, the last suggestion was to call for either telephone diagnostics and or a repairman. I watched two KZbin vides before finding yours; and decided to check the filter...Thank you. I will also check out your various advice videos.

Word of Advice TV Jay I was somewhat expecting you to release or announce the vaccine (heresy I know) for Coronavirus. Given you have all other world problems and challenges figured out, I’m surprised you don’t have a release on this Coronavirus. Maybe you’re saving that for a future video or working closely with President Trump in flowing that out to the American public.
@WordofAdviceTV4 жыл бұрын
Hahaha, I actually wanted to post a video on the topic but it's best for my channel if I don't.. Especially since KZbin is demonetizing coronavirus videos and flagging channels that post on the topic. I think there is enough stuff already out there so no need to put my channel on the red list :)
@holtrussell4 жыл бұрын
Word of Advice TV Interesting. There are maybe a few different ways to try and understand the motives there (both good and bad). None the less, good decision! I’m sure you have some interesting thoughts on the topic. Good thing is that you work in an industry that is relatively sheltered from the economic impacts. I don’t think you do new installs so you might see no change at all from a demand perspective. Aerospace - talk about changes! Impacts hit pretty quickly! Good job on surviving the apocalypse so far!
@WordofAdviceTV4 жыл бұрын
@@holtrussell Thanks for supporting my decision! :) I may actually make a video on some of the things I bought in light of current events though. Want to share some of the trinkets I got and would be curious to know what all everybody else got. (Hopefully toilet paper wont dominate the comments... Sigh) Yes, luckily I am in a good industry when things like this happen and I can also enjoy making videos if I will be stuck at home haha. I have a feeling the apocalypse is still in it's early beginning stage though... If this will be a global economic collapse, crap will hit the fan. Hard. I hope you and family stay well and healthy! Keep calm and don't join the panic party :)

Too bad the engineers that design these appliances design them have problems with time. You shouldn't have to take your washer apart to access these filters and make them work.
@VideoExpert6666 ай бұрын
100 percent! But that’s just how the world works now a days. A .10 cent part is keeping the company from making another sale. Because if the customer doesn’t know how to fix or someone who doesn’t have the time they will just get a new one. And 10 of 10 most of the time they will buy the same company appliance for whatever reason (color matching, function layout, etc.)
