I am a hairdresser, it appears that the clay/apple cider treatment has clarified her hair color and has neutralized her hair color which is a good thing. Her ends were looking a little brassy. You would get the same result in a salon with clarifying shampoo and a toner. I’d say this is a win!

I don't know if you're still using Amla Fruit powder or any other green colored ingredients but I had to stop using your oil growth mixture for that reason after a couple of applications. I have gray hair and at one point they were very brittle and porous and after using your hair growth oil, my hair turned green. Now I focus on the basics, baking soda wash, apple cider vinegar rinse and occasionally clay or Castile soap wash. No heat tool either. The issue, for me, with ACV is the smell. I am excited you are working on a product! Your different background music choices on this video were really well done, also. And, if I haven’t already written this in a previous comment, I absolutely love that blow dryer that you recommended. I’ve been watching your channel for a few months now and today is the day I finally did my first full treatment. Oils overnight, then apple cider vinegar then the clay wash. Despite all the excitement, unfortunately, I dont consider this a success. After a long shower and a thorough wash, my hair came out greasy and had an unpleasant smell. I will be trying again as I want to get good at this but first I’ll need to go back to my regular shampoo to clean up this mess. I hope I’ll get it one day.
@jennytaylia53712 ай бұрын
Did you ever get it to work like in her videos?
@agnieszkapajor89902 ай бұрын
Yes I made it work. It came down to figuring out the right amount of oil treatment for my hair, combined with the right clay washing and right amount of apple cider vinegar rinse. When done right, my hair gets properly cleaned and the treatment brings out my natural hair waves. My natural hair colour looks nice as well. There’s no smell to my hair once dried out. I used to wash my hair three times a week. Now I wash it once a week. I make my own oil treatment, clay wash and apple cider wash, I follow Katherine’s recipes that I found in her older videos. I don’t use combs as often any more, instead I learned to comb my hair with my fingers. I recommend trying this method, it takes a few times to figure this out, but once it’s figured out the process gets easier and faster each time. I don’t think I’m gonna go back to using shampoos any time soon. It’s nice to be able to use natural products without having to rely on chemicals. I’m happy I stuck with it.

I've been using a Rosemary oil for my hip length hair that has been thinning due to aging and health issues. Will the clay wash and ACV be safe for dark colored permanent dyedhair or will it strip away the color? I've been hesitant to go for the cray/ACV as I color my hair and won't be stopping that. Thank you and I enjoy your videos very much!

I have dyed hair, and I’ve noticed that it only pulls color if you use it recently after dye. So give it at least a business week before doing an acv wash and you should probably be fine.

As for clay, I don’t have an answer.

I’ve started using your system. I’m currently at chin length with layers. I can get it into two stubby little braids. The first clay wash was kind of a disaster but I’m not giving up! Also, I’ve gotten to where I really look forward to the herbal infusion every morning. Thank you!

I'm so curious, but man, that stuff is more expensive than salon grade shampoo. Maybe I'll try rye flower first, I need to remember to grab a pack when I go shopping next.

Actually, it's much cheaper, especially if you buy in bulk

Clay contains salicylates. Which acts as a scalp stimulant thus bringing more blood to the scalp bringing good things! I am allergic to salicylates as are others. If you sell, great but you must MUST be clear about the ingredients dear. I use rosemary that I grow and make basically a tea that after cooling, I put into a spray bottle to apply......along with several drops of rosemary oil. This will greatly stimulate the scalp as aforementioned. Also, make certain that your recipe will not compromise scalp health......recall WEN products.....which resulted in overgrowth of nasties resulting in hair loss.....(legal cases). Keep on growing but do the research!😊

Yes, I have been and will continue to be very clear in my labelling.

Are you expecting her to write the chemical inorganic and organic compounds that composte the rhassoul clay itself? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 The ingredient is the rhassoul clay. It is as if you want her to also write the organic coumponds of the water (H2O). You are funny.

Rasoul clay is NOT dirt. It's clay, it's soil..it's alive..dirt is dead, it's toxic, it's filth. Learn people learn. Meh🙄😏

Dirt is an all-encompassing term. And all dirt is alive, actually. Also, it was a joke ☺️

Thank you for this video. Respectfully, I would say that the final result does not look like clean hair 🥹 It looks "muddy". I get the same kind of a result when I wash with rhassoul clay. 🥹 By the way, I watched all of your hair videos, bought most of the products through your website and have been applying most of the practices you recommend for the past 10 months. I love your hair-treatment oil product. I made it and love it! So, it seems that this rhassoul clay wash does not work on my hair for some reason.
