Thank you so much for this video. My model is not quite as old, but very similar. You saved me a lot of time, on taking it apart and putting it back together.

Hello Mr Partselect, Is is possible to lay the hose on the floor to the floor drain. I do not like the water draining into my utility tub and want the hose to go directly to the floor drain.. Will laying it on the floor cause a problem or how would I do this so it drains directly into the floor drain and not my utility tub? Thanks :)) and thanks for your videos..

I don't understand why you pulled the end caps, electrical control panel and cabinet off of this machine unless you did all this to be able to video the hose. I have a model LSR8233EQ I just changed my pump to drain hose and simply tilted the back of the washer up about ten inches and easily changed it out. I didn't want to take a chance on breaking the plastic tabs on the end caps or the wiring to the control panel and sure didn't want to go through the trouble of removing the cabinet. If anyone is doing this at home I don't recommend they go to the extremes you did. Please excuse my seemingly negative comments. I just wanted to save the DIY'ers some possible trouble.

Hi lenchast. Thanks for watching, and for your comments. If you have room to tilt the machine or lay it on one side, the repair can be easily accomplished without the removal of the cabinet. We chose to remove the cabinet to show the viewers how the hose is attached and to demonstrate that the repair can be done without having to move the washer or disconnect the supply hoses to lay the washer on its side. Again, thanks for the words; I am sure our viewers will appreciate them!
