HELP!!!! Can you make a video on how to get the water inlet tightened for the Maytag Model MAV7600AWW. They have made the area so small you can not tighten the inlet water. I can not get a tool to tighten the water inlet hoses. I don't want to tear apart the back of the washer. Is there an extender available?? Looks like you have the same water inlet with the small opening

I have an old matag washer A612 and the siphon break is leaking. Do I have to repair it by installing a new siphon break or can I just get one long drain hose like in this video that go from the drain pump right out to the utility sink?

Love the videos quite helpful but I have a maytag 9200 old style and I need to know if the little metal discharge port on the bottom of the tub is removable its all rusty where the nozzle meets the bottom of the tub and I can tell if it welded or screwed in and I'm about to run jb weld around it before I replace the two hoses and I don't want to glue it in if removable if anyone sees this and knows please reply I have the washer apart and two weeks worth of dirty clothes to wash ......HAPPY NEW YEAE@!!! Hello Steve, I have a Maytag mav208daww top load washer. When I start it, the water begins to fill the tub, but comes right out the drain tube ????????? Do you or anyone reading this know how I can fix it ?????????? Thank you.

Sounds like your pump may be running when it's not supposed to. Could be a timer or some other control issue, sorry I don't know more.

First.....thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question. Second..........I am embarrassed to say that the reason the water ran out of the drain hose instead of filling the tub is because I didn't have the drain hose high enough. Once I raised it off ground level and placed it close to the top of the machine, it worked perfectly......................

Actually, that situation was my first thought as I've known others to do it. But with modern electric pumps, other things can cause the same symptoms. Anyway, I'm glad you figured it out. 😊

If I may pick your brains some more.......the Kenmore model 417-4810 front loading washer gives a 55 error code. The online material from Sears indicates the motor. The machine problem began with not completing the final drain and spin. I replaced the pump, the door switch, and the mother board. I replaced these BEFORE I learned how to get the error code.... Do you have any experience with this ??????? Thank you.

@@SlingbladeJim No, I'm sorry, I have no experience with front loaders. I would try searching web forums and other videos here on youtube. I'm sure someone out there has experienced the same thing, or you could try replacing the motor.
