Washington Avenue : Another Shady Tree-Lined Street in New Orleans : Biking New Orleans

This is the continuation of another bike ride out to Lake Pontchartrain. Riding up Washington Avenue, from Tchoupitoulas St and heading north, through the Irish Channel, the Garden District, and Central City.

I love the New Orleans Video, one thing that I discovered I see places that I don't normally see parts of town that I did not no existed I was born and raised here New Orleans has beautiful houses all over the city .... But what I do not like is the 3D camera footage, it makes the view UNREAL it distorts the REAL PICTURE .

On what are you watching the 3D/360° videos. I learned that on some devices, including Apple TV, the image is not displayed properly. If you watch using the KZbin app on an iPhone, Android, or tablet, you can move the device around to look around. Or if you watch them on a laptop or PC using a browser, you can drag the screen with your mouse or touchpad to look around. You will need to bump up the video resolution because KZbin, for some unknown reason, picks a low resolution and the video looks blurry and like 💩

@@MarioLorenzo Thanks for your reply I have watch 360 before on other video and got the 3D affect which is wonderful when watching walking video, but I watch yours videos thru my TV set for a much larger screen. thank you, I love that you name the streets which is Extremely helpful . but 360 or not I will continuing watching your VIDEOS, Peace Brother Mario .

In response to your first comment: Like you, I was also born and raised here, and have lived at one time or another in Metairie, New Orleans, Westbank, but, also like you, I have learned 75% more about this city since i started going on these cycling adventures and making these videos. I nearly never drive a car anymore.

Washington Ave is always ass bro lol. They never do anything with the neighborhood. Take it from me. Also don't go near Carrollton either

I went up Washington and across Carrollton on the day I shot this video and several times before. I take this way sometimes to get to Palmetto which I ride up to Lakewood and Old Metairie, then Lakeview and the lake. It's not great, but nothing sucks worse than riding in Marrero, Harvey, and Westwego, or taking the Danzinger or Seabrook bridges to get to New Orleans east.
