I grew up surrounded by the Appalachian mountains so when we went to visit my brother, his wife, and my niece who live in Norton Kansas last year I was amazed at how open and beautiful the plains were. I'm used to having mountains around me, so all that open landscape was a bit intimidating but I can understand why my brother and his family love it out there. Fun fact, we flew to Denver and drove the rest of the way to my brother's house in Norton, so seeing this video going in reverse on I-70 was a pleasant memory for me. Love your videos of the drive across our beautiful country and can't wait to see more!

I live in the US, and think how sad it is that some people can't enjoy this great country. Mostly for the lack of a plane ticket to get over here. Think if there were some way to just come stay with someone for a week or two, get shown around, and then fly home again. It would minimize travel costs, and be interesting for both parties, I'd think. Then the two parties could reciprocate, and the other could see the OTHER country in the same way. I'm going to google the concept. Kind of like a short-term "Exchange-student" program for adults. By the way, Lorry's (Lorries?) here are called trucks, and the big ones you see are just called "Semi's" (or 18 wheelers). Now you know. :-)
