One question if it can be taken to Wasim Akram is when Shoaib Akhtar used to bowl at 140-145-150, batsman used to fear him. They used to get bowled or edged and caught at slips or point. But when Haris Rauf bowls at same pace, he is getting smashed from Kohli-Rohit to Ireland-US batsman. Infact, he is getting wickets from slower balls caught at boundary. What is the difference between the two that they are getting different treatment?

These days pace is not problem for any batter,batsmen have evolved and improved quite a lot against fast bowling, although playing spin has gone drastically down .but pace everyone loves to get .akhtar,Lee or any one from those era would have been literally annihilated by batters today.people for some reason defend old is gold for no reason.

At highest level they don't fear pace. They didn't in past too. Even i won't fear facing pace and i haven't played cricket for 20 years. Its mindset. I opened when i played and first thing is to take fear out if one has to be good batsman. At highest level they also have skills so i don't think they fear anything

Muhammad Sami was also fast but he would be smashed all around the park more often than not. What made shoaib different was his attitude with a good bowling acumen. He bowled under Wasim and Waqar who taught him a lot. Shoaib was a quick learner as well. If you see when shoaib started off, he would get smashed . He would learn quickly, he orchestrated two different actions for different situations .

What is the point for all that More than last 25 years all we have seen no discipline no professionalism match fixing bad behaviour uneducated mediocre type of players unprofessionalism no discipline because of the bad and corrupt management bad team selection totally rubbish mediocre club level type of players like shoaib malik play for Pakistan more than 20 years that is one example there is so many others and all so you do match fixing whatever you do you still can come back in team and play for Pakistan no problem and also you can sit on Pakistani national TV channels and tell others what to do no problem that's how badly Pakistan cricket gone down and as nation and as society all so corruption is everywhere shame. Since IMRAN KHAN and JAVED MIANDAD left Pakistan cricket, gone down badly. No future, only disasters insult bad images for your country and for yourself as player shame.
