In 1979, there were at least 50 musicians and at least 20 very popular ones, and Wasiu Ayinde was not known in 1979. I don't blame this guy for not remembering, because it was a long time ago. Also, I would not blame him for not remembering Alhaji Monsuru Akande. I met Monsuru Akande in Olosha area in 1978, and at that time, his name was not among 10 known Fuji top at that time, even though he was the first Were Musician to be recorded in 1966.

There are many Fuji musicians that were recognized by Sikiru Ayinde himself but they were not mentioned on this platform,though most of them didn't like getting closed to Barrister because of rumours that Barrister will use their destiny which they all regretted at last after getting to know Barrister is a very good leader and creator of Fuji,but it was very late before they realised their mistakes and that one of the reasons they were not known.
