"Stand back! I'm going to read this book!" 👕 I know the feeling of ending a book abruptly, but I admit that it makes Me finish it with my own wierd imagination. "All type of Strokes for falks" 🤣🤣 hey! the idea a of cotton inside the ears may not be that bad 😂🤣😂 I'll look for that book! Thank you so much👍🐿

Hope you enjoy it! And, yes, sometimes I think it would be nice to block out the world.

You found a hardcover!!! Thanks for reviewing a book that started my collecting fountain pens. When I read a book like this, I lose myself in the writing, don't apply my sense of reality to that in the book, go along for the ride, you're not driving. I enjoyed the psi aspects, think of the Matrix. What is real what is imagined, who cares. Now that I'm retired I may reread.

You're welcome! And hardcover was what was in the used bookstore. I'm looking forward into getting into one again now that I'm vaccinated. Yes, the end was left a bit unclear whether this was mental illness or he had a superman as a patient.

Sounds like an interesting novel. Read a book by a physician Solon T. Woodward "Cadillac Orpheus" some years ago. Had nothing to do with his profession but the characters in the neighborhood he grew up in. Have you read any books by Colin Wilson? Recommend "Mind Parasites". Also recommend a recent Timesuck of H.P. Lovecraft.

I've lately been reading some short stories by H.P. Lovecraft. Just lately been reading one about an Antarctic expedition. I feel like he is building up to something that inspired the classic "The Thing".

A pen collector- some spooky 👻 parallels. What was his favourite pen ? Mont Blanc or Sailor? Did nurse whatshername share his interest? His favourite ink Parker Washable Blue?

He mentioned several pens. They were all European or American. I don't recall any specific inks. No, Nurse Halloway did not share his interest.
