Honestly, a well made rim is probably fine. I don't have issues on even my cheapest bikes. It can and does happen but this doesn't look lik a really hard stunt that would destroy a rim.

That’s not how it works, it happened from too much horizontal force not vertical, suspension doesn’t move side to side

@@omsteve4761 there was horizontal force, but there is also a vertical force component as well and suspension wouldve lessened the abrupt impact of that force component, lowering the overall total force to the tire and tire bead. I know exactly how it works. Full suspension all the way, less flats and unseated beads once I switched.

Yep. It happens often to people running low pressure with a tubeless setup on trails. It's called a "burp". The spray is the un-used sealant "burping" out.
