I have to politely decline sandwiches or coffee. I bring supplies in the car for that. I have done clients for up to 3 times. I have come to realize that the third visit is the charm. I circle back around with the client, cap their list, as well as revisiting the timeframe. If I can do 30 minutes less, I off that back to the client. Reason, more time, more clients, more money. Clients who text me, I make sure not to respond until I am in my car. I am clear to share that after I say hello. I appreciate each one of them for the opportunity to take care of my family.

As a cleaner I don't listen to music because I find it distracts me. I find it so fascinating that you said there is actually a type of music that would make me more productive. Thank you - I'll check it out!

True true! All of these. Btw, Angela😊, I listen to Dubstep, and Techno type music , sometimes old school “Club” music .... Lol... I’m nearly 52 years old and I do get razzed about my “Cleaning Playlist” which is Officially labeled “FUN”! I’m tricking my brain, hee hee! Anyway, I increase efficiency and productivity . And I get great cardio. Thanks for all your info.

When I was a kid early 1970's, my mother had a housekeeper who would spend afternoons at the ironing board ironing sheets with a television in the laundry room watching soap operas. My parents were just fine with it as she did a great job with that, and everything else. In those days, M -F with Thursdays off. My brother and I were responsible for our own bedrooms and shared bathroom. These days, I clean my own house but as dread as I get older that it will become necessary to have help around the house.

I've identified that my biggest time sink is glass.. I am still getting used to products that dry without streaking.. but I'd like to know if there are ways to be more efficient in certain areas of the house and what things to focus on learning to shave off a few minutes here and there around the house to get my cleaning abilities up to lightning speed while still delivering outstanding cleaning outcomes.

For bathroom mirrors, keep the lights off until you're done cleaning them. The heat from the lights causes product to dry too fast and streaky!

With all due respect cleaning is hard work I can't clean my whole house without taking a coffee and cigarette break I clean better that way and every job requires breaks I don't agree with chatting on the phone though that's wrong
