It makes since that he doesn't switch up your controls because that doesn't make sense for his SHikai to begin with. It IS about confusion the opponent with your movement not confusing your bodily functions. I think if his SHikai actually made the mind confuse its limbs, then the control swapping would have made sense like what Tsunade did to Kabuto but that;s not what Shinji does anyway. This is a good representation of Sakanade. Not the only way but one of the best ways and not control inversing... because that makes no sense.

I would like to know how they got the opportunity to develop for bleach, and they are not wasting the opportunity at all!

Yeah the main problem is that shinji didn't get the reverse controls power. I personally am disappointed that isn't the case BUT seeing what we got I'm still excited to play Shinji. Unblockable, a counter signature move, and a puppet character to keep pressure while you go in to attack. Can't wait to play him.

@@maicongabriel7108 tosen Bankai has a time limit and also you’re always facing tosen, with soi fon you have to charge it’s not gonna be easy to pull it off and her health is going to be really low

@@maicongabriel7108 Tosen visible zone became larger overtime and when you hit him you'll see normally, Soi fon must hold the button and it can be countered, if you get hit twice you blame your own level and not the technique. Shinji is just overpowered event if it's only 5 seconds.

For Shinji shikai. They should put a timer after activating shikai. At first everything is in inversed in terms of controls. But every 5-10 seconds some controls return to normal until eventually everything returns to normal and the character acclimated to the shikai. It's that easy. Then remove hyori and give him a weaker cero instead for a ranged option. Boom done

I considered them doing something like you mentioned at the top where he has a sakanade gauge. He could have spun his sword & then more he spins it, the more gauge fills up or stays activate. It could have been limited to each action so the gauge would have depleted after a few movements or attacks but also decreased overtime. Let me stop making myself sad at the possibilities 😂

@@SaintIrving a lot! if it were characters like Iba and Isane being cameos on Komamura and Unohana movesets i wouldnt be mad cause we dont know anything about these characters abilities, and Nemu is more of an asset than anything to mayuri, but Characters like the Visored (Which in the little time they had showcased a lot of abilities than many Captains and Lts) being made an assist only kinda makes me worry for the DLC choices. Tbh she doesn't have a lot of moves or abilities. Her Shikai is just a differently shaped sword (Hello Iba jr). Otherwise she has a mask and cero. She is basically Shinji with one less ability and way less screentime/feats. Tbh this was the best choice for her.

Yeah even the website had no mention of his step quick attacks or flash attacks but since everyone has them & are unique to their fighting type, I imagine Shinji has some flashy moves like what he did to Grimmjow in the trailer swirling the sword as an attack. On twitter, one of the Saints noticed even moveset is framed around action scenes like Byakuya kneeling to Renji is a frame when he side steps (or another certain move) and you can see the reference. So many details 👌🏾

We got a ton of characters with counters, shinji having one doesnt make him special no unique. He basically every othet character but less effect and less lore accurate. They seriously didnt do him justice not only when compared to the other characters but to fighting games in general

True. He is one of the few characters with an unblockable signature move & two signature moves so that is a bit unique despite not getting his main gimmick

@SaintIrving you don't even have to give him the inversion to give off the same effect. They could've made his enhanced version on successful hit make him invincible for 2-3 seconds so that you can get another combo off or just fool around and punish button mashers

But with all other characters there are clear visual clues when they do their counter. With Shinji you have to guess if it's the counter or the attack. That's the whole basis of his gameplay.

I think youa ll jsut don;t have the info . On the japanese site he actually has three options for his SIgnature move... 1, a counter, 2. a nothing and 3. an unblockable. The second version of his signature is an unblockable. His SP2 is an unlockable that releases his Shiakai so you can do the unblockable signature. This means that when you see him spinning his word you are going to have to guess (or pay very close attentont o the glow becuase it is the same aniamtion) whether he's going to attack, do nothing aka stop and go into soemthing else or its the unblockable. These aniamtions trick your senses bescause you dont know what hes doing...you have to pay attention. Hiyori will also be out on the field so that means you have two target to pay attention to because she wont leave unless you attack her or she attacks you leaving shinji to do whatever he wants when he is in mask form.

Everyone is on point execpt shinji a Counter and a unblockable does not make justice to his shikai power you cant even use a balance argument when tousen blinds you and soi fon have a two hit kill mechanic why everyone is acurate and shinji is not? Ngl i am disappointed with him for me is their first miss , at least the animations look good

The decieve the Opponent part is on point but thats the only thing the invert power not being a mechanic is a huge miss and nothing can change my mind on that, they could make it balanced by making it last a short time or make rng based when you have a chance of inverting the enemy's controls

@@maicongabriel7108 well to your point, Tosen doesn’t have full darkness.. the longer you are in his bankai, the more you can see & Soi Fon can’t do a perfect two sting hit unless she gets enough spiritual power which I don’t think she has until awakening. Even then, she may need to throw a combo out to get more so everyone has been nerfed in some way to balance the game. I understand how you feel though and yeah they really killed it with his animations

It's a fighting game. Inverted controls would be too strong and everyone would just use him and no one else.
