Wasteland Workshop - Painting Enclave Power Armor and Tesla Armor

I used Iron Warriors for my enclave troops, but this is also neat. I especially love the blue tone; do you think it’s still show up if I used iron warriors?

I don't see why not! Might be a tad darker since it's not a bright a base layer as I used, but that will probably work well for darker armors like these!

I’m just now about to start this hobby I’ve painted 40k stuff a lot now I’m expanding my reach soon to have my first ones in maybe a few weeks

Just got my first one painted it was a pain as I don’t have air brush or spray can so paining by hand is a pain so I’m holding of on second model till I get air brush or spray also they’re Tesla troopers

Good luck on that! I was painting a lot of 40k too and getting into the Fallout miniatures was pretty hard.

So I'm new to miniature paitning. When you say fairly watered down what is the typical ratio of water to paint? Or is it a sort of feel it out thing? Your paint job looks incredible by the way.

Thanks so much! It's a bit of a feel thing for sure - every paint will be slightly different. For standard coverage I'll wet my brush and leave it damp, and wix in the brush water with the paint until it runs smooth but doesn't separate from the pigment. For washes and glazes, you can do more of a 50/50 split to get a translucent look like I did with these armours. Practice makes imperfect!
