Stephen Pearcy is my favorite hard rock singer of the 80s bands. Great unique voice. I’d seen Ratt in 85, 87 and around 09. They were always great performers. The 09 show at the House of Blues was as good or better than the big arena shows. I need to find a copy of their Unplugged show. Stephen’s voice works so well with the acoustic guitars. Thank you for the interview!

I spoke with Mike through the comment section on a couple of his videos and he was just a kind soul with a truly generous spirit. I'm grateful for that small interaction. I need to tell you, Henning, that I love your videos too. Your very boundless sense of humor and limitless joy in this 6 stringed instrument we love so much. Maybe one day, I'll get the opportunity to tell you Henning in person. I bought a Harley Benton guitar about 2 years ago based on your recommendation and I love it. So what you and so many guitar KZbinrs do does mean something. I could see in all the videos with you and Mike that he saw you as a brother. He is missed and won't soon be forgotten. RIP Mike (CHINA GUITAR SKEPTIC).

My first concert was RATT in 1985. Bon Jovi opened the show. I've seen Stephen more than any other band. I saw him play once in Salt Lake City at a bowling alley during one of the many splits with the band. Nice to see him talkative and in a good mood. I've seen so many interviews of him, and several live performances over the last few years where he seems to just want to get over so he can move along. I know he's been going through some things.. I'd love to see this animated guy show through in his shows. He's one of my favorite vocalists, and has a sound no one else has. Still one of my rock and roll heroes. Great interview. He's obviously excited about telling his story, thanks for sharing. Stephen, we're all pulling for you!! Take care of yourself.

My brother!! You are having an interview with the lead singer of my favorite band of all time. Stephen Pearcy!!! I've had an opportunity to him with RATT back in 1999 and a couple of years ago with his solo band. Man...loud and awesome. Mybears rang for 3 days. Wish I could've seen RATT back in the 80s. I had a modern day "helicopter mom". I was born in 1972 and in 1983 when my buddy Paul Johnson loaned me the 83 debut RATT album, I was hooked on the music and never looked back. I swear to God I wanna meet Stephen. If the original band can get back together, I want to meet the guys I looked up to as big brothers. RIP Robbin Crosby. Miss seeing him and it is hard to believe he's gone to this day. Got into Arcade when Stephen started that project and have all 3 cds. Got into his other projects, but he will always be the front man of RATT in my mind. Just the coolest and don't give a fuck kind of guy. He takes music as a business and loves his fans. I can't say enough about him and RATT. They are the epitome that has done so much to grow my life and attitude and yes...chasing girls. I love writing music lyrics and I always have music running thru my head. So...thank you to RATT for making me the RATT loving bastard that I am. Got me thru a lot of shit in my childhood and adult life and losing my virginity. RATT N ROLL FOREVER!!! Joe Barrett

I immediately ran out and found RATT's 1st EP and Queensryche's as well. I was the kid in school that came wearing a RATT shirt with other kids saying , "who the F is RATT?" Then months later coming up and saying, "Dude, have you heard RATT?" Yes, yes I have. Best time to be a long haired, guitar playing kid. 70s and 80s.

Very good interview Jason. Stephen definitely posed as one of the harder interviews to crack - and you did a fantastic job helping him feel comfortable to open up about private matters - even challenging him a bit at times when he put the blockers up. Part of that obviously comes from the fact you guys both know and trust each other to some extent - for how far you could challenge each other. Lots discussed in 45 mins! Great interview and get a better sense for who and what Stephen is all about. In fact, this was the very first time I heard his speaking voice - for some reason, always assumed it had a bit of that RATT rasp. :) #wastesometimewithjasongreen
