WATAMU | A Gem on the Kenyan coast!

We called the coastal village of Watamu Kenya home for 2 years, so we couldn't come back to Kenya without stopping by and visiting some of our favourite places in this little gem!
We stayed at the beautiful little Mida Creek Hotel where we enjoyed the peace and tranquility, as well as the unique activities that can be done with them and their partners Poseidon Water sports.
We also took the time to visit some of our favourite places in Watamu like Kobe Suite Resort for a quick glass of wine and bite to eat, as well as before heading to the best sunset spot in Watamu - Lichthaus Bar!
We really believe Watamu is a special place in Kenya, with some of the best small hotels, amazing restaurants and of course beautiful people.

Good morning. Such nice impressions in the video 👍🏻. I also want to go to watamu for kitesurfing, but I am a bit afraid of sharks. Do you know anything about sharks at the coast of watamu ? Thanks a lot for your answer. ☺️

You should do it! You'll only ever see Black Tip reef sharks and they are tiny and harmless. Anything bigger is always outside the reef. We never encountered anything and haven't met anyone else that has either 🙂

Mixing shorts (I hate shorts) in with your longer videos (I love those) means your Uploads Folder is a mess. I find it hard to find new content (and I won't subscribe because of the shorts). If you really like shorts could you please create a "Not Shorts" folder which has all the regular content?

Thanks for the feedback, but how are you viewing them? When you go to the channel page, KZbin has separated videos from shorts so if you click videos you won't be shown any shorts. Its possible that a short might be recommended by KZbin as a following video to watch next, but from what I can see there should be no mixing of videos and shorts on the main channel page...

@@WhereNextFamily if I click on the Channel name I get "Uploads". At the moment the first 3 in there are shorts. Below that is a row of Shorts Then Past Live Streams & Created Playlists which are places. There isn't a row anywhere which excludes the shorts. I watch on a Smart TV
