But for India's intervention Kashmir would have gone into the complete control of Pakistan like POK. Look at the conditions there. The people in POK are struggling for freedom and democracy. Had Kashmir gone to Pakistan these leaders will be in tatters doing chamchagiri to the authorities of Pakistan. They can't live in luxury and talk the way they are doing here. Art. 370 was a temporary provision which was expected to go after some time. But that did not happen for obvious reasons. That lapse should not be allowed to go for ever should be set right at some point of time. These leaders with vested interests always object to reaching out to solutions and want the confusion to continue for ever.
