As a suggestion, rather than raking out the fallen leaves, you could just add more mulch on top to cover them. The leaves will breakdown and improve your soil quality. They also act as a natural mulch.. I look forward to your next project! 🙌🏾☺️

They can provide valuable nutrients to your plants and soil. In the spring you can mulch right over them. Thanks for sharing!

No worries 😉! All of my outdoor spaces, rather backyard or front yard, typically has to be refreshed at least twice a year. This is actually my first time working in this space since creating the flowerbed back in July. I think you’re referring to the patio space, which was cleaned recently in September due to Hurricane Helene.
