You all helped me so much going to Yellowstone for 7 days two years ago. Was my best trip ever. Hoping to go to RMNP. I have 7 days available again. You two are the most helpful channel. Love your organized and clear approach!

Thanks for all that info! For international travellers, Memorial Day falls on the last Monday of May - it’s mentioned in the video as the start of the best time to visit.

We were just there in early May. It was amazing. We watched one of your other videos which helped us out. We hiked the Emerald Lake trail which was covered in beautiful snow. We thought about other trails but rangers warned of significant avalanche possibilities so we took the trails most traveled. Can't wait to go back.

Headed there in July for the 2nd time. My first trip we stayed in Granby. This time we will stay in Estes Park at Paradise on the River. I can’t wait to explore Estes Park and all the shops. We will be in the Rocky Mountain National Park for three full days. We plan on doing some easy hikes and taking lots of pictures. Hopefully, we will see plenty of wildlife. Lots of great advice in this video. And I also would say do your research, look at the maps and have a plan.

How do we know if a road will be closed in early November, eg. Old Fall River road?
@WereintheRockies3 ай бұрын
Old Fall River Road is already closed to vehicles for the rest of the 2024 year. However, it will be open off and on for bikers and walkers, see here: www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/road_status.htm The closure dates in the past can be found here (although it's not entirely updated): www.nps.gov/romo/learn/photosmultimedia/opening_closing_trr_ofr.htm

From Estes Park can we drive Fall River Road into TrailRidge Road and through RMNP?
@WereintheRockies7 ай бұрын
Yes, you can leave Estes Park, drive the Old Fall River Road into Rocky Mountain National Park, and go back to Estes Park via Trail Ridge Road.

Is the trail ridge road open yet? It's already June. Wasn't open for Memorial Day.

Yes, I believe it is open.
