I can’t thank you enough. The CX75 has been one of my favourite cars ever since I saw it in spectre. It was a shame jaguar couldn’t build more but you’ve given me hope!

Couldn't? They got cold feet at the proverbial last minute and didn't bc Porsche didn't hit their target numbers and the LaFerrari was getting bad press.

Crying shame the fabulous original concept with the twin turbines and four electric motors didn't make it in to production. That would have given Jaguar a lead in the race for hybrid supercars years ahead of the competition.

Just build them. I’m sure they will cost an obscene amount of money but I’m sure you would fined enough buyers for a limited production run. Then maybe I might be lucky enough to see one. Not that I could ever afford one. But we can dream.

The original had 4 electric motors for each wheel, and a small diesel engine to recharge the batteries.. It's predecessor the XJ220 had a V6 though, their exteriors share the look but the drivetrains inside are a totally different ethos

The micro gas turbines from Bladon Jets generate enough electricity to extend the range of the car to 900 km (559 miles) while producing 28 grams of CO2 per kilometre on the EU test cycle. While running solely on battery power, the C-X75 has an all-electric range of 110 km (68 miles)
