Sam you should just take the black panel that the tips stick through off and fix it to the new bracket for the exhaust. that way you're using that complete hole in the rear clamshell for the extended tips... love the videos keep it up... thanks...

Ideally put the cross link before the 1st silencer, that way you get the best cross scavenging between the 2 cylinder banks.

Can you not mount to short lengths of pipe to the rear clam shell so when it closes they cover the end of exhaust. So it looks as they come through.

A very under-rated/unheard of exhaust brand? It's called "Different Trend" and is available on CARID here in the US; my 2.5", 409 stainless steel, fully welded mufflers I installed on my Plymouth sedan were $38 apiece. An engineer buddy, who learned exhaust from 'old man' Bassani, recommended them to me as the best choice. No complaints & no reason to spend a bunch of cash for a name with the same quality

Sadly its them headers that are letting you down. I'd have the headers exiting forwards, not backwards, then looping back over the header into the silencer above the header, going to the back of the car matching the angle of the clamshell, then an x-pipe over the trans and exit out the back. Then as the tailpipe has to be cut short so the clamshell can open, I'd have fixed mor fancy looking tailpipe ends fixed to the exhaust exits on the clamshell so it looks better, so when you close the clamshell they line up! This way the branding on them silencers can be right up there gleaming when you open the shell up! Not only will that look awesome but sound it too! Get new headers and redo it bruv!
