The coolest part is the boosters self landing. Everything was pretty lame compared to Virgin. So basically, it is one of those parachute rides that shoots up and then descend. Seems like we need a new definition of what an astronaut is other than some one who just goes above a certainly line.

Virgin takes 2 hr flight in a very basic cabin which is very boring with uncomfortable position of being upside down during vertical stage. Also windows are small and plane is turning so you cant even enjoy the views without being disoriented.

You know that’s not the capsule slamming right. It’s the 4 small boosters underneath it that activate once within a certain distance of the ground. So it creates an air cushion that makes it a Soft landing. For some reason people are so stupid to think it actually slammed into the ground.

You know that’s not the capsule slamming right. It’s the 4 small boosters underneath it that activate once within a certain distance of the ground. So it creates an air cushion that makes it a Soft landing. For some reason people are so stupid to think it actually slammed into the ground.

A single-turn space flight lasts 80 minutes (I remind you that Gagarin has 108 minutes). Bezos flew for 8 minutes. Then let's assume that the Germans made the first space flight in 1942 (the rocket's lifting height reached 188 km, unlike Bezos ' 100 km), firing at London with V-2 missiles. In total, 4,000 space flights were carried out to London :)))

Gagarin's was an orbital flight, this was sub orbital, basically point the rocket up and run the engines long enough to achieve desired altitude. No reentry burns neede nor a capsule capable of surviving the reentry. Not nearly as impressive.

I’m just confused they said they went to space but did they even past the ozon layer or the stratosphere? Because the Thermosphere is where the space station so if they could make that and back that’s interesting but you didn’t even get to see the world as it is at the high they went I would think
