Worked there many years, it is a dangerous area but met some of the nicest most loyal people in my life in ENY. It's government, not the residents. The system retards any progress by treating violent criminals too soft and putting them right back on street keeping the 99% of people with good positive intentions behind their doors. It's the residents that are in prison NOT the criminals.
