I was going for a Hestia build, but ended up getting Triple Bomb/Rocket Bomb with Frost Flourish and it was the most fun I've had in this game so far.

On the H2 trailer: I agree that it looks more like lighting that makes Hades's hair look gray/white, but even if it was gray or white, the big bad is kind of the Titan of *Time*. I have to imagine part of being imprisoned by a time god would involve some sort of messed up time manipulation. I could even see H2 being a prequel of some sort, I don't believe that we ever here Chronos talked about as if he's alive in H1 (or possibly at all?).

The way that could see Zag being gone but not gone for good is it could be that since it is Kornos they could have it where he has stopped time at the pool so Zag can not come back until Kronos is stopped. If he did something to the Styx then it could also lead to the fact that he is dangerous since it causes issues with the dead. Overall while Zag is strong and can be reborn he needs to come from the pool so if that is locked down or in like a time loop then he would be stuck there.

with 8 olympians to trio, you'd see 56 trio boons. If they add in the three missing olympians, that's 55 duo boons and 165 trio boons, assuming hermes is still doing his own thing

I have a small theory about where zag can be. So, in Greek mythology Chronos ATE his children bc of prophecy that one of them would kill him and in the end Zeus’s mother replaced him with a rock so chronos swallows it instead of Zeus. Then, later, (I don’t quite remember) chronos was tricked to womit eaten kids(Hades, Poseidon etc.) and gets defeated. So, the theory itself. Maybe chronos swallowed some of the original characters from Hades, including Zag and some gods, and in second part we would get them back by beating chronos repeatedly?

Zag's not "dead", he's undone. Chronos has unmade him. Reversed time past his existence and stopped him from existing.

Theory crafting time for hades 2 That guy talking about hades being older could make sense yes the gods don't age but Kronos is the titan of time he controls all aspects of it so he could theoretically make hades old. My main hope for hades 2 is if they do hidden aspects again they don't do what they did on hades 1 none of the hidden aspects feel fun to play with lucifer being a slight exception. Hades feels like a quick game having to slow down feels like you're playing the game wrong in my opinion. Understand not everyone will agree with that and that's fair. More weapons or completely different move sets for each aspect would be nice I understand that takes more time for supergiant to develop but that's what I'd like. And a want that probably won't happen but imagine after you beat cronus you get time effecting boons that either completely stop enemies or speed them up to confusion so they just attack anything you and other enemies. And his call could be you slow down time and you move faster and his greater call could be the same but for each enemy you hit during this at the end of the call they all take a crit hit the end. That's alot to read Dan so thanks if you do and fun to watch you as always

Zag dies over and over wheter or not you die in combat or escape to your Mother. 9 times to unlock her coming home to the under worlds to finally get that Pom Blossom. So know much like Hades is Immortal so is Zagreus. I mean he is the son of two Gods.

I can probably give you some tips here if you want Is there something specific you're having trouble with in terms of attacks? Some general tips: The most important tip is that the fight does not scale in difficulty, that means the fight is the same no matter where you take it in the run. So if you're having trouble try not to take the fight before Elysium. That's when you most likely have the best build. Second is try getting Athena's dash, you can dash through every single one of his attacks with the right timing. He has pretty long downtimes in between some attacks, so try getting a build with high burst damage so you can focus on dodging when he's attacking and doing big damage when he's standing still.

I just think arctic blast really not worthy, 10 stacks is not so easy to get even with Chiron and you only did so little damage compared to Doom or Hangover

Shield with Doom (Ares) on special. You can literally just keep spamming Y and just run away. That's how I got my first win and was able to learn the mechanics of stuff which has helped me a lot since

Aspect of nemesis on the sword can put out a lot of damage, it's currently my fastest clear.
