Hey lindsey! i love your channel & im subbed! :) but i have a serious question beginner youtube person to yt person - how do i escape the PLAGUE that is copyright? a few of my youtube movie reactions have gotten taken down and its reeeally discouraging me from continuing with my channel...but i love doing it! I've noticed you post often and sometimes within a day or two of each other. i almost always get blocked for at least 3 days. i would SO appreciate some pointers?? :')

Hey Leanne, I'm one of your subscribers too ❤ That sucks, sorry that you're having problems! I have only had one issue with copyright so far and it was on a song playing in the background, so I make sure that music doesn't play for more than a couple of seconds without muting or distorting it, like sometimes I'll pitch the clip. For movie clips I make sure that I don't show more than about 7seconds max without commenting out chopping up the scene, but I do purposefully pause and comment a lot to make sure it isn't just the movie playing. But I have watched your Look Both Ways video and that seemed fine and to follow the same format as mine, do they ever tell you a section of video that's been flagged or is it just generically saying it's copyright claimed? Hope you find a way so that doesn't keep happening 😩x
