I just took out my first set of knotless box braids a few days ago... I started at 1 pm taking them out and wasn't done until 8 pm. And that's just with probably 40 mins of help with from boyfriend.

When I get micro braids, it used to take 2 days to take those suckers out. No more. I would go right back to my braider, pay her her $40. Done within 2 hours. Best $$$$ I’ve ever spent.

SHE DID THAT! I didn't care for knotless braids bc, just like you mentioned, you see too much scalp And it looks all spacey lol. But yours are so full and the perfect length/size. Now I want braids lol. They look GREAT!

Beautiful braids!! Most ppl are unaware that knotless braids are supposed to show more scalp. The point is to have a more natural look.. it's all about preference.

What’s crazy is she’s been doing them for like just one year 😱 she does for the most part braid straight through. She currently pregnant so had to take some breaks in between. But for the most part she just cranked them out.

Back in the day, I told people whose hair I braided to cut them at least 4 inches from where you believe your own hair starts. That makes the process of taking out the braids much easier and alot less painful.

The braids are gorgeous ! I remember I got some small micros and it took 11 hours with two people on my head 🥳they were gorgeous. It took me 4 days to take them down 🤨I still get shivers when I think about that lol.

Naakie Nartey the ones I had were the size of ants I think and it was about 1 billion and they were crinkled which made them even more impossible to break free 🤪and they had knots which took me what seemed like the additional 2 days plus I’m slow like a turtle when taking hair down😂🤣You are going to get so much growth the next two months🤩
