That’s funny, Reminds me of when kids dressed the baby (7) in white wedding dress, put his hair up, makeup and the nails. The nails were what brought trouble however because while I laughed and took photo we forgot about toenail polish OOPS.. Dad was not happy the next day.. Love Jorge’s galaxy mix and enthusiasm while doing this and in general!

Question- can I do the striped gel w/ swipe trick on hard gel nails as well? Like in a dimensional nail? And if so would I cure a layer of gel then do it or while that layer of gel is wet, then cure?

love this look! so many techs are combing gel and acrylic in one look without removing inhibition layer and re-scuffing it.. do you have any issues with adhesion?

When you are using that small of an amount just for the art, you shouldn't have any issues with adhesion when you cap it. If you apply a full layer of a color, you may get better adhesion if you cleanse and remove the shine before you cap.

I'm allergic to monomer, so I only do hard gel on my clients. But I see how I can do this with hard gel instead. My question is, can I use the fiber gel as the bottom layer in a fill?

YN can give you an official answer, but I know they have repeatedly said you can’t use Fiber Gel as a base for Hard gel. It’s too flexible.

That is a fabulous glitter mix! You guys should use small gifs to show your products on the website. Your glitters are SOOOOO much better irl than on the website. “Bat Out of Hell” is a great example of that. I got it because of the name tbh and then when I got it… 😮 BTW, thanks for letting me know how to claim one of these glitters! Lol

Why did Tracy not go all the way to the sidewall with the fiber gel? Admittedly I have not learned much about fiber gel but it seemed like a mistake

Whoops, just missed a little spot. Yes, you would want to fully cover the nail but it does end up getting covered by the top coat and glitter. The fiber gel was more for coverage in case there are spots missed by the glitter.
