You embody me at 8:07. Which is why I have been researching locs and proper loc care for the last 6 months. And as of last month I booked my appointment with my cosmestologist to do my medium two strand twist install. I have long, fine, voluminous curly hair. My hair I would guess is like 3C (Front sides & top) to 4A (back center & nape of neck) mix. Loose curls all over but in the back the cures are slightly tighter. I am tired of putting my hands in my head, the amount of detangling is just disrespectful. I don't want to do all these products. I don't want to put heat in my hair. My is fine so tension doing braids and all that jazz has always been a no go for me. I just want to leave it alone. I'm loose natural for 3 years now. And I'm good on this now... I just want styleable, long, manageable hair. That is the the only reason I ever did a relaxer. Till the thinning out, and cancer risk became apparent. Now I'm still back to where I was damn near crying in the mirror doing hair like I was when I was 12. Then I was just trying to put it in a ponytail. This is the move for me. I'm super ready. Only two more weeks til my starter set!

Hey my beautiful black queen I don’t know if you know this or not but don’t use a comb to start or retwist your hair it’s a detangler and it’ll take longer for your locs to locs and once they do start to grow your locs will have holes in it. Meaning your loc will look like it’s about to split so your ends may be locked but going up the loc you’ll be able to stick your finger through it. I’ve had mines for over 2 1/2 3 years now after I cut them the first time....check out yannie loctologist all of her videos give good info

Good effort, but you should consider letting someone start your locs and maybe you can maintain them. Your twists are all over the place with no grid or pattern. The parting is off and in my opinion, your twists are too big and not uniformed. You mentioned that you want fullness, but I don’t think you’ll achieve that with those set of twists due to the parting and size.
@DESZREN

So it’s clear you haven’t watched any of my recent videos which is okay! I don’t like anyone touching my hair or doing my hair so no matter what I would’ve kept trying until I got it right which is what I did. But I appreciate you expressing your concern for my hair ☺️

Thank you! I will take this into consideration for future videos! It's so weird because sometimes when I edit my videos it will be super loud so I turn it down but when I upload it the volume is wayyy too low!
