I really hope by "Virtual RAM" they actually mean "ROM." Using an SSD as RAM would wreck the drive in no time flat. Unless for some reason they're using Optane, which wouldn't be as good as a pure SSD for storage speed (and it's more expensive).

@@thecollinzboy Very few games on the One X do native 4k at 60 FPS. Most are 1440p with upscaling and checkerboard rendering. Also, the graphics setting standard on the One X is different than PC, PC's use "ultra" settings as their standard while the One X would use lower settings to achieve its performance at those resolution and frame rates.

Don't go saying the one x can do rendering and upscaling at 1440 because it's not the console's fault. the console is fully capable of reaching 4k native at 60 fps the reason why it isn't 4k on all games is because the developers didn't fully optimize the internal parts in the most efficient manner which is why some games are at 1440 instead of 4k. its the developer lack of knowledge on perfomance optimization and other games that are native 4k are using the one x's parts in the most efficient graphical way to achieve that standard so again like i said the one x is already capbale it only depends on how much devlopers push the console to its full limit

"Consoles" died with the Xbox 360 and PS3, the in-house development of hardware could not keep up with the work Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA are doing. All you have now are PC's masquerading as consoles. They should of came out first with an apology to gamers for dropping the ball on first party support with the current generation. Then reassured everyone that their first priority is catering to developers and bringing the most powerful hardware to date. So much so that it is as if they skipped an entire generation with the inclusion of 8k compatibility. Drive home the console being 4 times more powerful harder. Entire time having 100* focus on the console with no mention of pc or phones which by mentioning them cheapens the experience/lessons the value of the new console even though these are technically features they should of instead been touched upon during a later date. Far as the new Halo game they should of released a new ip as their center focus and Halo as a secondary supporting title. Halo once great has been stale for years and has long since lost its appeal (remember how the world practically stopped and everyone bought ran out and bought halo 2 at the time? That hasn’t really been recreated since.) This unveil gave off the impression that Microsoft has learned nothing from the current or prior generations and is doomed to repeat their prior missteps and lose yet another console war this generation. The hardware is impressive but who cares without the proper utilization or game support.
