I purchased the 2023 Tri-Glide 120th anniversary edition . As soon as we went for a ride we knew cooling this Tri-Glide down was absolutely necessary. So we Ditched the stock exhaust getting rid of the catalytic converter that was the source of heat for my wife - Then we went to UltraCool oil cooler with the UltraCool oil filter . Additionally we went to Jims Force Flow Fan . What a "felt" difference when stuck in traffic . Although we purchased other products - we did use all of the DKCustom information provided . We really want to thank DKCustom for their research and shared information .

I have a 23 triglide. Installed a 1" tank lift, deflector wings, oil cooler and oil filter relocation kit, and HD cool fan. Also installed V and H exhaust to get rid of catalytic converter. Riding in TX heat at Interstate speed my oil temp is between 210 and 220. Thinking about adding Jims Fan to cool further at stop lights or in traffic.

I've got a 2006 TC Deuce. V&H pipes, S&S stage two 409 cams with high flow oil pump, S&S mini stealth air intake and this year installed the DK external breather without the catch can. I notice a huge difference with all four in combination and my temp rarely gets above 220 F now. I cannot recommend the EB more. Order one now. Your bike will thank you.

I chose aIndian over Harley because are more reliable & offer better handling, suspension etc.. Value for money. That doesn't mean the aftermarket will not offer upgrades through time. We have to ask for this.. Dedicated Harley shops have eyes closed for Indian motorcycles.. Time to wake up as their beloved company went woke & start loosing dealerships & bikers. In UK 5 dealerships closed.... In USA also a lot...

My 2017 tri glide ultra does not have an oil cooler on it and the only time my oil temperature gets much above 200 degrees Fahrenheit is when I'm running down the expressway at 70 plus miles an hour. Ok guys, I finally bought my first HD!! It’s a 22 road glide special, after purchasing the bike “new “ with full warranty I started researching the heat and crank case pressure problem I was told not to worry about them because HD solved those problems and my dealership won’t install either pressure relief parts, transmission cover or air cleaner kits!!! I took it in for the 1000 mile check up and I complained about finding neutral, extremely high temps off the bike, and now loud noises from the front head and a squeaky sound from the air cleaner that gets louder the longer I ride it and hotter it gets, I can use some advice please

The migration from the transmission to the primary on your 22 RGS should have been resolved by the primary vent that was installed at the factory...you should already have that. Earlier years we had to do it after, since they were not installed at the factory. Here is a video on them- kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJComXl8gNt7e68 Finding neutral will be improved by the following 3 things: 1. Running Redline shockproof in the transmission 2. Making sure the primary does not have too much lubricant in it...if it is too high, it causes the clutch plates to drag and makes neutral more difficult to find. 3. Changing the shift linkage ends to heim joints, will make for much smoother and more precise gear changes. See link on them here- www.dkcustomproducts.com/pair-of-quality-heim-joints-for-harley-shift-linkage-dk-hj-pair.htm Heat is going to be a problem that HD cannot/will not fix. We have a written report on what can be done to lower temps significantly at this link- www.dkcustomproducts.com/why-how-to-cool-down-the-twin-cam-engine-part-i-dk-cl-tc-dn-1.htm Regarding "loud noises from the front head and a squeaky sound from the air cleaner that gets louder the longer I ride it and hotter it gets", it is really difficult to say what that is without the bike in front of us, but what you describe absolutely should be addressed. I would try a different Dealership. Always feel free to email or call with any questions. Support@DKCustomProducts.com 662-252-8828 KP

Where is the best place to monitor the oil temp. I have a dyno tuned 131 with a CR-515 cam in a 21 Low Rider S. I have a temp sensor in the oil drain plug. it reads cold 150- 200F It was 88f today and driving is in city traffic it only showed 210f or so. I also have a oil pressure sensor in a Improved racing ENV-117. I have a adapter that will let me put the temp sensor in where the oil pressure light sensor is. Not sure if it would make a difference though.

All our testing is done by getting the oil temp at the Oil Tank. We use the Harley Temp dipsticks, some of them are analog, some are digital. We also use the Analog Oil Temp Dipstick from JES Custom Accents to measure the oil temps on our bikes. www.jescustomaccents.com/ You can use the other locations you mentioned, however, for comparative purposes, the vast majority of folks (including Harley when they say what Normal Operating Oil Temps are...see link below for a photo of the HD manual on the subject) all measure at the oil tank with a Temp Dipstick. www.dkcustomproducts.com/pub/image/Links_2/Normal%20Oil%20Temp.png Thank you for commenting! I just bought a 24’ road glide and after riding in 106 degree heat for two hours in mixed riding, the dash temp gauge read 220-230 degrees. After I parked in my garage, I stuck a cooking thermometer in the oil tank and it read 160 degrees and shot a laser temp gun at various points around the engine and nothing read higher than 240 degrees. So the twin cooling seems to be working.
