Ah the watch that Jim Kinkade ordered! I like these a lot! Green being my favorite color I would go for that one! I like the wider straps as well. Makes it fits better and feel more secure. I think if they put the main crown at 20h00 that would have been awesome. I do like the MIP display. These are better than Casio's though because you can invert them. I think the standard version is more to my liking as well. Thank you for sharing man! Have a great weekend!

The Arnie and Promaster Land both need radio sync (I own an Arnie and multiple Eco-Drives). I also own a Casio Protrek 3 sensor, solar, multi-band 6. The 10 bar does not bother me. *If I buy another analog/digital/solar, I'm leaning the Protrek side (just for the M.B.-6).

Yeah for the price with the fake screws for the pushers, at least Seiko PADI the screws actually are used to waterproof the pushers.. GREAT VIDEO!!!

Looks like Citizen design department got their hands on a Breitling Aerospace and a Tudor North Flag. Then, once they'd smashed the two together, a quick bit of +120% action in the photocopier, and ta-da! Although you'll never pay RRP for these, it's still a tough sell against the G-Shock MTG range.

Great presentation, I like the design of this watch. I wad looking for the green one with the cordura band, but it's not available. I think it is overpriced, maybe next year will be a little cheaper. But in the meantime I bought the GWG-B1000-3AER green mudmaster, it was on sale for 520 euros, and I can say it's a very nice watch, all the functions you need, multiband 6, bluetooth, ABC sensors, sunrise /sunset data, dual backlight, compared to the citizen promaster land. The only nice thing is the MIP display, and of course the design.

Very good review. Thanks ! I love Citizens and have various Promasters. However at this price point I can’t say I think this is a good deal vs G Shocks. It’s nice enough looking but meeehhh. Maybe it will grow on me 😅.

Got to say the 007 is stunning! Some people maybe thinking that the 008 being a limited edition of 5K isn't really limited, and they would ordinarily be correct if we are looking at the likes of a Swiss brand with sale volumes in the tens of thousands per annum, whereas Citizen sell over 200M individual watches each year.

Please help! How to activate the energy-saving mode in the watch? Whenever I check my watch in the dark around dawn when I wake up, it continues to run the same as in daylight and the power saving mode does not activate. And I couldn't find any option in the clock menu where you could set the energy saving mode.

I have this watch, and I never searched for this function. But I observed that there is power saving, and it is automatically activated, but you must remove it from your wrist and keep it in the dark. After two days in the drawer the second hand stops and the digital display is off. The hour and minute hands are indicating the correct time. But the watch is resuming operation very quickly in the light. I was only able to observe a rapid movement of the second hand and the display turning on, similar to my mudmaster. But you don't have the option to enable or disable this function.

Functionally, I like it but that knurling on those fake screws on the buttons is a very poor design. The thing that really kills the buy for me is how huge this watch is on the wrist. My Skyhawk AT can't even keep its year setting so my days are wrong. I really don't understand why it happens so Citizen is kinda on my crap list. It has put me off spending much for a watch and I've just bought a very inexpensive Casio with a nice day/date display.

hey Rick yup these are large and think i commented on that, if they had shrunk some of the dimensions it would have been better for most wrists, and damn I've not heard of those issues with the skyhawks, thought everyone had only good things to say about them!

​@@thetimebombardier I have a Casio WS-B1000 w/Bluetooth arriving tomorrow so the phone will now update the watch and it's only 11.6 mm thick. No interest in the running data, I just wanted a thin watch with Bluetooth and Casio's great set of features. That six tower business is way overblown in a world filled with smartphones. The outstanding issue with the Skyhawk other than the loss of year issue, is your always aware it's on your wrist. I always had the automatic time sync turned off on the Skyhawk as it was a battery drain but It kept remarkably accurate time anyway so setting it manually worked just fine.
