I posted elsewhere that if it was the UK Thomas would have started writing his resignation within minutes of that line dropping. The fact that he is still in post highlights two things. The US needs to get a grip on this sort of thing as it should not have been allowed to get anywhere near this far. The second thing it highlights is the arrogance and lack of shame that resides in that despicable shell named Clarence Thomas. The Chairman of the BBC resigned this week. It turns out that he had facilitated the connection for Boris Johnson (the then Prime Minister) to secure a loan. Johnson then appointed him as Head of the BBC. As soon as the investigation report being published saying there was some conflict of interest the Chairman resigned. The interesting thing is that without that undeclared action he would probably have still got the role but it is the optics that matter at that level. That is something that Roberts and the other justices (all eight) need to recognise as they all signed the letter to Congress saying "nothing to see here" as regards testimony to Congress. They have just put a massive bull's eye on the court.

This was so excellent - I watched it twice. I never knew this much about Roy Wood Jr. What an impressive background/family. He seriously knew what he was talking about. So many in the audience somewhat uncomfortable yet covering up their urge to laugh. Yeah, I can definitely see him taking over The Daily Show. I like the others, but now knowing Roy's background/degree in journalism - I think he can give the perfect message/laughs/truths for this current time. He can be a little smoother on his comedic deliveries - but that will work itself out. I think it would - or he may actually want something more serious. Whatever - this was great.
