@@danielstevens58 i em a lot more educated and wise than David Attenborough let me tell you that the Erth is not static and moves closer or further from the Sun that creates cold and hot periods on Erth. that is why there was ice age thousands of years ago There is Sun flear to that is when the sun eruption is bigger than usual that creates heat and electromagnetic fields. Not to mention the active Volckanos on Erth. What the Elite like David Attenborough and Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos are doing is getting people prepared for carbon Taxes. So (any Government) has good reasons to tax you without you complaining. do know the history of the Erth but obviously you don't and like all Naive people you believe everything that the Elite tells you. And just to mention that the trees and the grass are absorbing CO 2 anyway. Incase you didn't know that . I know the history of the Erth so I em not impressed by the likes of the Elite
@phillsimpson4562 жыл бұрын
What a tool. ⬆️😂 Sun flear? You mean a solar flare? Nothing to do with this issue. The electromagnetism is a problem for satellites and the ionizing radiation can knock power grids offline if big enough. These are single event phenomena, with the last major one in 2003. Nothing to do with global temps or climate change. If the Sun were responsible for global warming, we would expect to see warming throughout all layers of the atmosphere, from the surface to the upper atmosphere (stratosphere). But what we actually see is warming at the surface and cooling in the stratosphere. This is consistent with the warming being caused by a buildup of heat-trapping gases near Earth's surface, and not by the Sun getting “hotter.” The grass and trees do absorb carbon, yes, well done. Funny thing is we keep cutting them all down and paving them over. Or in the Amazon, they just cut out the middleman altogether and burn one of the largest carbon sinks on Earth straight into the atmosphere, (that's Earth with an A, as most 8 year olds would spell it). Volcanoes emit nowhere near as much CO² as human activities and often have the opposite effect such as the eruption of Mt Pinatubo in 1991 which cooled global temperatures for 2-3 years. 'Volckanos' as you call them are totally dependent on the content of their ejecta, with eruptions heavy in sulfur dioxide often leading to a volcanic winter, contrary to your basic b*tch understanding of science. Sir David Attenborough is a naturalist and a broadcaster, there is absolutely no context to lump him with those other two. He's 95, he has money off the back of a long career. You think he's spending what little time he has left involved in some reptilian enforced tax conspiracy with Captain Cock Rocket and Jeffrey's mate? To top it off you big egg, we're actually around about due for an ice age right now but our activities have sent it the other way. I'm sure you knew that all ready though, professor spelling mistakes. You're either delusionally over-confident in your ability to absorb information accurately; or you're full of shite. 🤷🏻♂️ I'm going with the latter. Perhaps it's both though and you're just a really thick narcissist? 🤔

I have watched him on TV for many years. I have watched his recent documentaries on KZbin. Now I see his speech in Scotland. He is consistent, intelligent and compelling. I accept what he says about the climate, but I also appreciate that he is always focused on solutions rather than 'doomsday'-style problems. He is no doubt one of a kind, an inspiration. Some day soon I hope there is a Nobel prize with his name on it, along with at least the beginning of the environmental turnaround he so fervently believes possible!

300 to 400 ppm is pretty good going for 10,000 years 0.03 to 0.0412%. Still practically zero, when you research the numbers you'll see the holes in this narrative. Sadly David Attenborough's iconic voice and demeanour is used to pull people's heartstrings. I never see these leaders setting an example, most of delegates arrived on private jets when they could have gone business class on large cleaner airlines with the rest of us. If they cared. America could have spent on fast 180mph intercity electric trains if they were serious about pollution. None of them practice what they bleat to us about. They'll just tax us to hell like taxes are a solution to everything!

What we need is for the G20 Leaders to be seated next to each other while Sir David questions them on why they continue to fail in dealing with the climate crisis, and what are they going to do to avert this crisis in the next decade. Amazing speech! 95 yrs of experience talking. Hope Younger Leaders at the Head of Countries and Organizations take action - genuinely - and move towards a better world. Common sense answer would be "yes, we would work together" ... and I hope and pray, that's the answer and actions that Global Leaders and Big companies will say. Everyone as Individuals should do our part, including the unregulated business and communities that think their "small waste" will not affect climate or community.
