To those making negative comments remember that they are paid a fraction of an western employed factory worker and the products they make are sold for very little. These machines are not used in precision manufacture and will do the job. Very easy to be critical sitting in an air conditioned home. They are at least working unlike those in advanced countries that expect everything on a plate. I have worked in africa etc and appreciate the hard work they do day in day out regardless if they are sick etc.

Why should those machines not be used for manufacturing precision tools? After all you will still need some fixture / die shoe there, the fixture for the die press might come with some bushing / and guidepost, those bushings are even used with large presses. basically you just need a tool which is able to provide force, the rest the operator can take care about. I started with a DIY CNC lathe and DIY mill, I was able to manufacture very accurate parts (my measurable tolerance was down to 10 microns) - but had to deploy some extra measures to be able to do so. Nowadays I work with a Mitsubishi CNC which needs less maintenance (again less .. not no maintenance, the DIY machine needs twice as much maintenance but the cost was like 1% of the Mitsubishi machine) to produce the same quality parts. The shoes however sandals.. how long do they want to work in that shop? 10-20-30 years? no one can tell me that the workers cannot afford proper shoes. I saw some guys carrying around melted iron with sandals, that's nothing but irresponsible (by the particular person himself). I might understand that a startup tries to cut cost for initial prototypes to get the business running but those businesses are not startups.

I find these videos fascinating to watch, No fancy CNC computers needed. Just skills and use lathe, drills, grinders, acetylene torches and welders and then making a power press from stock steel. Respect. Always wonder how often you get some hot sparks of melted steel on the exposed feet in jandels. Thanks for sharing.

You might want to check the Afghan, that copycat just about any type of gun available these days (from hand guns to machine guns, antique guns). The only tools they use are a hammer, file, and might be a small grinder (not all shop have this) very basic simple tools. But I like the big machine that I can see what they doing, the gun making is way to small to see.

Hi masters. Health to your work. You are making very nice products with a very nice work. If you make the 3 screws that you put on the bearings that you are trying to tighten at 28:20 and 29:20 and belong to the cover long enough to enter the main body, you do not need to hit so much with a hammer and damage the bearing bearings. As you tighten the screws, the hub of the bearing will fit on the shaft without any problem. (As you did at 24:30) You do not need to weld it together. When you need to replace the bearings in the future, it will be enough to unscrew the screws. You can also increase the number of screws and the thickness of the screw. It will also be useful to thicken the main body as in 24:30. If you are not satisfied with this idea, if you pass a 2 mm wide pipe from the shaft to the shaft after the bearing and hit this pipe with a hammer, you will place the bearing on the shaft more quickly and more smoothly. At the same time, you will not disturb the ball bearings on the bearing due to the irregular hammer blows and you will not shorten the life of the bearing. I wish you ease in your work, accident-free and trouble-free work.

I worked for an USA company for almost 25 years, and I wondered why many USA engineers could not solve problems just using ingenuity, they were blocked. Once we had a new machine for ultrasonic welding a pair of plastic parts. the machine was designed for working in between two frequencies. but it did not work , something went wrong. and would not weld in between those frequencies, we needed to increment the frequency. but if we did that it will reduce the machine horn durability, so the USA engineer would not do it. He played with the variables, time, pressure etc, for 3 months, nothing worked, I told him many times just increase the frequency. no, he will not do it, because it was out of the designed parameters.obvious something went wrong, but we needed to produce the product, and had no more time. what to do? He left without solving the problem. the product was programmed to run that week. I just increased the frequency. there was a variable he did not consider. production volume, we needed to run only 1000 parts per week, that was just two hours production per week. at that volume, the heat on the horn would never get so high to damage the horn and I asked the planner to program the product in between lunch time, so during lunch, we we will give more cooling time. that happened on the year 2000, I left the company on 2017, and the machine was still working fine. I admire this guys that can do extraordinary work, just using ingenuity and imagination.
