I don’t get why people put all that time into a dog, get him familiar and comfortable with you,then just give it away.
@i_am_Plague2 жыл бұрын
@@Cereal_kwilla its FOSTERING, where the dog needs to trust their foster caretaker, so that they can get a home and start to recover. its hard for some people, and other foster parents give the animals to their friends and family, so that they can see them. it obviously hurts, but what if the foster parent has too many dogs? they cant adopt another dog because they would financially struggle, leading to the dogs being malnourished and hungry. they want the best for that dog, not the worst just so that they can have another pet.

maybe filling a food bowl without a schedule just filling it hoping it would last him a while, he would eat it all and would have nothing until they randomly filled it again messing up his eating pattern in that cycle and just letting him outside and bringing him right back in without any walks or leaving him in a fenced backyard all the time

Thank you so much for changing his life. I have a pitbull and he's my first baby. I noticed during covid i got carried away with treats. My dog got up to 83 pounds (hes a bigger breed) but we saw his energy start to decline slightly. So we took responsibility for it and immediately made changes. Changing his food from kibbles to chicken n salmon n veggies. His treats are frozen blended pineapple n bananas. I pour them in silicone molds and freeze them. He loves it. And chicken n sweet potatoes for snacks. We started taking longer walks. N now we have made it fun n exciting for my loki baby. He got weighed in 2 weeks ago at the vet and hes 65 pounds. We make trips to state parks now and go on hiking adventures! He is happy and healthy and ill never let that happen again. We have to be our babies care takers...its our responsibility to give our fur babies the best quality of life!

Yeh I don't think a husky could ever really survive past 150-175lb, their frame just wouldn't support it, plus look at the markings around the face, definitely a malamute here, but still amazing!

I think he is a husky/malamute mix actually. That head is all Husky but his frame and coat are definitely that of a malamute. Pretty common mix up here in western Canada.
