But this is something I don't understand. All you need to catch Guma in this case is throw the hook to the side. Then you have a 0.5 probability of catching him, because he isn't (I think it's impossible) reacting to the direction of the hook (and if he is, then a reasonable individual cannot). He is reacting to the windup of the ability and dodging away from where he currently is. And, as adc, you cannot afford the luxury of such a risk.

It's actually more in favor of Gumayusi because of one thing Saber was talking about in the video which is tethering and baiting. Guma with his movement is essentially convincing Nautilus to go for an easy hook instead of a prediction so that he can dodge it perpendicular, and if the Naut is really good or somehow outmindgames Guma then Guma still has the option to flash or ult reactively if he expects the hook to hit him (which is bad of course but not as bad as getting hit). On top of all this, even if the Naut throws a prediction, at far enough range Guma (and most people really if they practice) might still able to dodge reactively by the angle of Nautilus and the first few frames of the projectile that tell its direction.

Any chance you could go over proper mouse/clicking habits for ADC players a bit more in depth? I'm struggling a bit with my aim while keeping up the good movement/positioning, especially when the spell and my autos have two different targets or when the fights get messy, and it's been a tricky area to clean up on high attack speeds without my movement/DPS suffering as a result - do I just need to keep grinding aimtrainers or are there any tricks to improve in this area?

I'm a huge fan and really like your videos, but my biggest gripe is that you beat around the bush too much. Maybe it works for emphasis and gives the audience time to piece out their own answers and theories before revealing what it is exactly you're trying to teach, but for me it just feels a little too dragged out and makes the video a chore to watch. I would probably mind it less if you added timestamps or some sort of TL;DR(?) That being said, maybe it's a me problem.

I think there are 5 ways to dodge. The 2 ways you mentioned plus moving out of the way with high movespeed from ghost/zeal swiftness items and 4th is outplaying the skillshot by predicting and moving in the opposite direction. Finally the 5th is positioning so that you are never in range to be threatened by that skillshot. Predicting is by far the least reliable because you could technically get hit if they guess your prediction and change their skillshot.

It's undodgable if you're purely reacting to it. If you're already moving and she throws it at the location you were in, then you can make it...but that's technically her missing it and not you dodging it. Even if you pop ghost, you have to already be moving for that shit to miss. The ability is too fast with too large of a radius for you to react to it.@@i_am_person52
