Great video hun, I just started my chanel collection ❤.. i do have two at the moment a seasonal flap in medium and a coco in small.. im saving up for my next and im tossing between the chanel 19 small (loved your video on the 19 as well ❤) and business affinity medium.. what do you think of the BA? Im thinking of the next bag as more of a daily bag and can use during travel (i dont carry a lots of stuff on my bag even when i travel that is the reason why i bought hubby a nice leather back pack to carry all the extra on a travel 😄, and kids have their own too)

I am the same, I don't carry much in my bags :) I would say for you, the business affinity should work really well! I love the 19 for you too but you have to think about whether the slouchy leather would bug you over time. Some people will get tired of the "pillow" look and prefer a more structured bag in the long term. I never owned the business affinity as it is too similar size to all my mini flaps already and I also don't love the seperate compartment. Hope this helps!

I agree that mini is easier to style bec it looks like a camera bag. We know that’s a go to style. Whereas coco handle is a dual purpose due to detachable strap. I wrestled in my mind which one to exchange my medium vanity bag with (the stitching inside came off so they gave me a gift card instead for it), I decided on the new navy blue coco handle in small. Value for money and the top handle! :)

I think it really depends on how they drape you on. Because classic minis have cross-body length straps, they tend to look more casual. The reissue minis will look more dressy but I do prefer the classic cc turnlock as well so it's a tough one!

You look amazing and enjoy this video so so much. It may be a coincidence that there are 5 black bags among top 6 and that makes your lighter color choice, the coco handle looks even more amazing. Very good choices and content as always. The only personal choice I would deviate is to substitute the Deauville tote with your mini reissue. One, there are so many practical options including your LV MM and the next Hermes Birkin or Kelly to serve the tote bag functions; Secondly, I just found mini reissue so nice to use, double chain, perfect chain length for cross body even though I often just carry the chain as top handle and wrap it like bracelet because the chain is so beautiful, light weight and easy to care or to fold for travel and more space than the mini square and mini rectangular. One request on your next video, talk about your thoughts on Hermes maybe. After the Chanel price increase earlier this year, it appears all of sudden "everyone" is getting Hermes and Birkin black and Kelly crane 25 now seem to be easily attainable. With more used Hermes in the market and the more money for value justification, I cannot help but wonder, over the time, is it going to be more likely to come across similar styles going out with a Birkin/Kelly than a Chanel? Hi Amy, awesome video, and timely for me too because I have just started my Chanel journey and in the process of prioritising my Chanel purchases. So far I have bought the Reissue 225; vintage Diana flap in medium size and mini Reissue. I feel these are timeless and practical pieces and I love all 3. Am now lusting for a mini rectangular in caviar (black or red with SHW) but these are so expensive now on the resale market and I just can’t justify the ridiculous $4k-$5K preloved price tag given the small size, I think I would be better off getting a preloved classic medium flap for this price. The other option I am considering is selling my mini reissue to fund the mini rectangular because my mini reissue is in gold hardware which I find too dressy for my casual style, and I think I would use a min rectangular in silver hardware more often to get the cost per wear down. Logically I know that some of the seasonal Chanel bags are awesome and better value size wise, but I just love the classic mini and think a caviar one would be most versatile for my lifestyle. But still, it’s difficult to justify to $4k-$5K price tag. What do you think? Is the mini rectangular in caviar worth the astronomical price tag? Or better to get a larger Chanel bag for a similar price? TIA for your wise, insightful advice 🙏☺️

That is such a tough delimma! Sometimes it is a matter of bitting the bullet despite the current market price or other factors. Selling your reissue mini to fund it is a decision only you can make but I have learned to not make rash decisions when it comes to selling Chanel bags because they are so hard to get back if you decide to.

Your dress is absolutely gorgeous and you should enjoy for certain - even if it's just for yourself. I find in so many of the videos about bags, especially CHANEL, other Countries lean towards Black about 80 percent of their collection. Living in Florida, USA, We use black as a more formal bag and much more colorful bags for daily basis. I have a nice collection , yet own only 3 Black bags, which is quite sufficient for our lifestyle. Also I am fair skinned and blonde. I believe your choices of styles are very beautiful - but I wear much more colorful. I guess it's what is more acceptable in different areas around the world. But for certain, we all LOVE OUR CHANEL.😍😍 The only "mini" I own is a Hermes Constance 24. That's as small as my collection allows.

Do you use any conditioner on your lambskin to remove minor scratches? I have a brand new square mini in black lambskin but it actually came with a couple of minor scratches on the front flap from people looking at it at the store. I assumed that I can just buff it out with the white cloth and although it’s less visible and very minor, I can still see it and it bothers me. I live 5 hours away from the boutique so it’s hard to return it and I know that black square mini is a hard to get item.

She buffed it out at the store too but it didn’t completely go away either but I assumed it will get better with time and maybe a little conditioner. It is a 20b series and I bought it over 2 weeks ago so I knew they just got the bag. Everything else looked perfect and I really wanted a black square mini for awhile so I felt like I had to get it! I was also only up there visiting my family for a day and there is no Chanel store where I live. Anyway, I read so many different things people use in purse forums and KZbin videos but I am still worried that it will change/damage the leather and it’s a brand new bag. Also, Chanel website and some SAs say not to use anything except to use the white glove that it came with to gently buff out the leather once in awhile. Based on what I read, I am thinking maybe Cadillac conditioner? I wish Chanel would just make a conditioner for their bags so we won’t have such a dilemma on what to use! If you can bring this topic up on one of your live show, that would be awesome!!!!! Thank you so much!

In general, I was also told to not use any products except the white mitt that the bag comes with. But if I had to buff something on my lambskin, I would also consider using just my fingers. Sometimes the natural oils from your hands or even from hand moisturizers is enough to get most of the scuffs out or appear less obvious. One thing we need to understand is that lambskin does age naturally just like vachetta from LV. I'll explain in my trendy cc video soon!
