Hey, I'm applying from the UK, but I don't have any hotels booked nor do I have a point of contact in the US. I can make an itinerary, but I don't want to pre-book any hotels right now, in that case who should my point of reference/contact be in the US and what should I put down as my place of stay? Any random hotel, or the one which I'm most likely to book?

You can go for reservations (non-paid) for example on booking.com etc which dont need credit card etc. You can then give the details of that hotel and show the reservation as a proof if needed. This way you don't spend money but also have clean and clear preparation and paperwork

Hi , your video helped me alot I have few queries regarding DS 160 , Please guide me I was once refused to get US visa 12 years ago at that time I was having My uncle’s sponcership , but now they are not in touch with me as of they are not in my blood relations ,but they still in USA, so do i need to mention their details Yes/No in the relative option. Secondly my passport is ECR, Do i need to fill up my graduation details ? as ECR passport shows the education below high school.

If they are a distant relative, avoid mentioning it, especially if you are going on tourist/business visa. For education enter all possible details! You will get the cues as you start filling the education section

@@Dinesh-k3783 please give some time between two applications. Usually, the embassy will tell you the reason of application. Please check that before applying again and make sure that reason does not come up again

Hi, last I know, it was about 15000 inr (I paid 185 USD) and you can also choose that option to pay through credit card. There may be extra charges for using a card and I also read somewhere that some categories of visas are now ~19k (changed recently) but try to fill DS 160 till the end and be prepared to pay between 15-19k inr

You can do reservation instead of booking. Which means you reserve without paying. Carry a copy of it if possible. They dont ask for paid bookings for accommodation.

You can easily get it still. Make sure to have a clear answer as they will ask you about it. If possible, carry some proofs as well to share your stance during the interview
