Watch This Before Getting A M340i

1:35 I specced my 2023 with staggered 19" mixed runflats. It came with runflat summer Goodyears and mine is good for 130+ mph. You don't need the ZTK package to unlock the speed. Also, with the ZTK package you get similar 4 piston calipers that are slightly bigger and with 374mm rotors.

I appreciate that correction from my understanding the ZTK typically comes with the summer tyres but summer tyres is the only requirement for the limiter but I was completely wrong about the the calipers ngl I thought they were 6 just because of the size difference

I went from a 20 to a 23 and the exhaust difference is humongous. DP helped with that and I like the placebo effect of believing I got a 5% hp bump. Crazy that the DME still has to be shipped to Finland for an unlock. Best 2 U and that ride:)

You must buy the M Sport Package if you want the limiter to max out at 155MPH.. M Sport Package : Bigger Wheels , Tighter Suspension, etc

@@piyushdaryanani8045 personally i prefer the c43, but the m340i is faster, if your looking for a coupe or convertible then go for the amg. but if not, just find a used m4 or c63s. hope this helps!

This is why people that don't have the most knowledge with these cars should NOT buy them. They go and let their emotions get the best of them and buy a car bc they have a plan to create something awesome. But when it comes time to actually tune the car they have to back pedal bc they don't understand it fully. Basically don't spend the money or the down payment unless you are ready and know what it takes to build the car.

Beautiful ride. I love these headlights more than the 2024 ones. These look more sporty. Question for anyone - being that the M340i and RS3 are the same price range, why not go with the RS3 since it does 0-60 in 3.2 - 3.5 seconds (depending on who is testing)?

Everyone has their own needs from a car. The RS3 is smaller. So leg room is smaller, cargo room is smaller. B58 is the m340i is much more reliable and fuel efficent due to the ZF8 transmission too. The m340i also has adaptive suspension (if optioned) to make the car feel comfortable or handle sporty whenever you want. The m340i is just a slightly better overall better daily than an rs3. If you just care about speed and want 4 doors. RS3 is a great choice.

This is still a very fast car but is good as a daily due to the really good gas mileage. 400+ miles on a full tank. You dont want to daily a base m3 or comp lol.

This car has close to 400hp. That's more than enough power. The vast majority of people aren't going to be tuning this car. Non-issue for most people. Also, if you're going anywhere close to 130mph, you probably shouldn't even have a license. That's instant jail time if you get caught.
