I’ve always liked the R8 for its more simplistic design over the Huracan. Just like the Porsche turbo & S it’s a great daily driver! I was sad to hear they stopped production on them.

Super. Concise and to the point. $4-$5k on upholstery repair is on the cheap end if at all possible in CA.

Great vid. Another minor issue I heard with this generation is that the break pads tend to rattle inside the callipers. I think there is an aftermarket spring that can help with the issue tho. 👍🏻

Wouldn't say it's common but it can happen especially if car is driven hard. PPI would reveal quickly.

What about tax and registration costs? How does this factor in with this pricing for hacking? Is the Tecnica hackable yet?

I would think a good option would be to switch to a high quality coil over shocks. That way you can tune the dampers for the road and track.

I think I'd prefer to buy a regular Audi V10 in low mileage and mint condition for under $100K and then spend another $30K+ and add the AMS Performance turbo package for 1,500 HP.
