I've been buying Weathertech mats for all my new cars since 2000 and I am 100% satisfied. Perfect fitting. Made in America. Even a guy with very limited mechanic abilities is easy to install and clean. The best investment to protect your vehicle. In Special if you have children and they sometimes may spill something.

I like my weather tec mats in my GMC. I dont even pull them out to clean them. I use armor all wipes. But i dont really let my truck get dirty inside she is babied.

I have them on my BMW, although i work in an office I do like how the mats really keep the floor from absorbing water and dirt over a period of time creating that musty smell.

Thanks for the honest review. Wear and tear is normal for floor mats. Being that you enter and exit your vehicle more frequent than others and you do commercial jobs, you accelerated the rate of wear and tear. Still great mats, you were just hard on them. But thanks again for the review!!

I love my weather tech floor mats. Keeps the water, and especially salt, out of my carpet and off my floor pan better than any other floor mat I've ever used. Also fits better than anything else I've tried. Definitely don't have any of those curling issues. My one complaint is that there is a slight bow at the front corner near the gas pedal. You'll see it if you look at it, but not so much when you're driving. It definitely doesn't affect how you use the gas pedal. That bow has been there basically since the begining (got them as a Christmas gift) and they've probably got 75,000 miles on them

DIY fix pro here. Take a heat gun, heat up the curled/bad fitment areas of your mats til they're soft and hold them in place ensuring they wrap each nook and let them cools down. That'll take care of the curling issue.

mine lasted 8 yrs in 2 diffrent 4runners before i wore a hole throught it completely from my work shoes.even wore a hole in the carpet in the car to the metal underneath.

When new lay in sun for a bit to soften, I also used a heat gun to uncurl the edges you speak of. Also in a commercial application you have to expect some accelerated wear vs. joe-six-pack commuting to the office everyday. good video though.

Husky contour in my 13 150, I did wear a hole in the drivers side and they made good on it did cost me shipping to return it to them to inspect but they did replace both 👍🏻 I have weather tech in my wife’s MKC no issues I will say husky are softer under foot 🦶

My dad is big on WeatherTech. My daughter had rubber Ford mats in her car that I do like more. I bought the higher end Husky liners for my truck exact fit or whatever. The back is rubbery feeling while the front is closer to WeatherTech’s material. With a vinyl floor check you don’t get something with the spikes on the bottom. I just edited my first video for my channel I’ll upload tomorrow, but I’ll make a video comparing the WeatherTech to the Huskies next so you can see before you buy. The Ford dealer gave me WeatherTech liners for the front, but they are for a different model. So I have both new here.

I put Weathertech mats in our F150 five years ago and Maxliner mats in our Ford Edge two years ago. I can tell you that the Maxliner mats have always fit like a glove while the Weathertech mats never fit very well and seem to have gotten worse with seasonal temperature swings. The Maxliners are made with a more pliable plastic, which I believe is a factor in their ability to fit well. Of course it may be an apples to oranges comparison since different vehicle models present all sorts of different contours that challenge the manufacturers. For the curling problem in this video, a heat gun could be used to soften the plastic and straighten it. Then perhaps you could loosen the truck's plastic floor trim and tuck the mat under it. The downside of doing this would be that water could seep under the trim piece and cause further issues.

@@therookie3445 … I’m sure it’s hit and miss as with most things. If you can’t find a review of them for your specific application I would make sure they have a good return policy. I will tell you they are a bad option for a 2009 Silverado 2500HD. They didn’t fit well around the left foot rest area and now lean away from the foot rest even more. My carpet also does not have retainers for mats so my Weathertechs came with a red disc (maybe 3”-4”) that has stiff barbs to grip into the carpet to keep the mat in place. These just tear up the carpet. With retainers and possibly fewer sharp angles Weathertechs may be worthwhile.

🤔 Gorilla Duct Tape those edges and your golden. I personally love weathertech, never had any issues. Love the warranty. Had a trunk liner in my 2020 elantra so i could put tools in it, ended up having a gallon jug of water bust in the trunk. It held everything, i heard splashing while stopping and discovered it. Whole trunk was dry except the mat. I think the way the floor is designed has alot to do with it. Your trucks are basically flat to the edge. If the floor dips down when enter the vehicle then weathertech is perfect. Nice video man. 💪🏼😎👍🏻

Rough county wraps around the seat near chair controls switches. It’s not full proof but just ensures when you step in you don’t trip up on the mat.

Weather Tech liners do not work well with vinyl floors. They are designed to fit snug on carpet which needs more protection than vinyl anyways. Weather Tech states this on their website.

I just bought a front and rear set for my new Ram. I guess time will tell. I was concerned about the unipiece design for the front hump, but I went with it anyhow because its carpeted and not the vinyl. I can see how it may be a pain to get out for cleaning, but I suspect vacuuming it first will keep it cleaner.

Nice trucks by the way. I had the weathertech floor liners in the front of my old 2015 tahoe. I put 126k miles on them and they've lasted. They have shown a bit of wear on the driver side, same as you had on your truck. I now have a 2020 tahoe and was able to transfer the floor liners to it. The fit was the same. Though they may not last another 126k miles. Nice video.

You may want to get some custom precision made carbon fiber liners!! When you are that extreme on liners/mats I highly doubt many if any would hold up to that kind of abuse. It is rubber!! Not being a jerk just saying. I've had many different kinds and the weathertechs have def been the best ones I've ever owned. Also one thing I've noticed many don't do is take off the door sill put the sides under/behind the sill and snap back down. Literally looks like the mats are the floor of the vehicle.

I'm on my fourth set of Weather Tech mats (four different vehicles); have always had black ones until this set, but hated the way they looked after a few months of use and their cleaning products do not keep them looking new once scuffed. I got gray ones this time hoping to lessen the scuffed look later on. Even though they were "supposed" to be specific for my vehicle...one mat did not fit properly. I made the decision to just trim it myself rather than going through the return process.

I went with Husky liners lifetime warranty when you install them needs to be either hot summer or use a heat gun and Reverse roll the edges and use heat on them that way they lay down they curl towards the floor.

These mats are not designed for Vinyl flooring, every single brand of laser mats I've seen for your model say the same thing, This is why they don't fit properly, The rug is what fills in the gap, they are made for vehicles with Rugs on. :o/

I had Weathertech a in my 13’ f350 superduty. Had the same fit issues and Weathertech would not help me out. They said “that’s normal.” I was pretty confused by that since their entire marketing is based off of a “perfect fit” Now considering new liners for my 19’ Yukon, and I’m not sold on weathertechs... SO expensive.

I’ve got a 2012 Sierra HD with factory floor mats. They have held up very well and when I scrub them clean they look great! Ditto for my wife’s 2014 Silverado! I don’t understand the attraction for the expensive aftermarket floor mats?

Holy cow, what kind of shoes are you wearing to wear them out like that. I still have my weathertech floor mats since 2016 and sure they're dirty but never ripped like that. I do agree with the back seats, my mats lay there but do not hold tight, so anyone who can't sit still tends to move them all around. It's annoying because I have to readjust every time. However my driver side is fitted perfectly. (Ford Escape 2016)

Weather Tech floor mats aren't made for vehicles with vinyl floors- they're meant for use on carpet floorboards. It says it on their website. That's why they fit so poorly in your truck

I am pretty sure these are floor liners not floor mats. It appears that the difference matters and the mixing terms would be confusing to consumers. It looks like WeatherTech has 3D Floor Liners, 3D Floor Mats, and regular floor mats and descending price points.

I got a 2020 f-150 with factory mats. Why I simply can not understand didn’t Ford mat go all the way up like Weather Tech does. No cover under the gas pedal, the most dirt and mud will come off your shoes at the gas pedal. I bought a vinyl clear plastic to put under it. 🤷‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. Why Ford not cover the whole floor. Also I bought a set of husky mats for a Blazer which we still use and have. If you think Weather Tech rolls, wait until you try Husky. They are horrible, my first and last Husky floor liners. I’ve bought four sets of Weather Tech after trying Husky

Bro looks like you dont take care of them i have a set in my escalade and my CTS they still look new. Theyve been in my escalade for 4yrs and in my cts for 2yrs. The escalade is used as a work truck. Just ordered a set today for my SRX. Did you set them out in the sun or use a heat gun on a low setting when you got them? Do you ever take them out and spray them off or treat them with anything? A ton of work to take them out? Are you kidding me.......

Just received a set for my 2020 F-150. All I can say is the "Perfect Fit" is BS. The driver side mat fits fairly well. Passenger side shows gaps against the door column. Rear mat fit is terrible - it will not even lie flat against the floor so the edges roll up when you shut the doors ..Not worth the price IMO

Weathertech floor liners are what he is showing in the video. They are a harder material and formed to fit. Their Mats are rubbery like any traditional mat is and they can often be ordered as a vehicle specific exact fit but they also have generic mats I believe. I don’t think exact fit mats on top of exact fit liners would be a good option but I couldn’t say for certain.
