As long as this mod makes it to release day, it doesn't matter if it's hit with a C&D. A C&D just means that the devs can't update the launcher anymore, but we can play on, as proven with iw4x & other banned clients. SM2 failed because it was hit with one before release

One thing to note for those who are concerned that this might get C & D'd: Plutonium is a mod for Black Ops 1/2, World at War, and Modern Warfare 3, and it's still around despite others having been hit by Activision. The big reason is that Plutonium is not actively advertising pirated copies of the games the mod works for. On top of that, H2M is not making the mistake sm2 devs made of taking donations. You have to own a copy of any of those games in order to use it, and the devs aren't making money off of this. The big thing to me, (emphasis on my perspective) seems to be that Activision only goes after these if piracy is involved in the process and the mod developers are making income off assests they don't own. I'm not saying nothing will happen with H2M here, but the fact they require you to have a legal, officially obtained copy in order to use the mod AND the devs are providing this with no money being made is a difference maker.

Okay, So something that Rxqe didnt mention but will mention on his H2M video is If you are having issues with not being able to go into fullscreen or not able to look up because your mouse is frozen on the top left of your screen What i did is I uninstalled GoXLR (That may not be necessary for other) But i also heard unplugging their headphones and microphone (If they are USB) also fixed it (For some reason) But what i did was that seemed to fix it is disabling every single audio and microphone properties i had in the Settings --> System --> Sounds and disabling everything there manually BESIDES the main ones you use for your audio and microphone

Thank you for reiterating that you NEED to LEGALLY own MWR to play the mod. Earned my sub for that. Too many youtubers are clickbaiting acting like it's a new official game, and too many people entering the discord asking how to get it for free. I think thats just the hacker sending packets to your game, just apart of a crash tool. it seems like a scare tactic because the exact same guy sent a "host migration" packet to my pc on infinite warfare. Ran a malware bytes scan, nothing came up. If you notice things are seriously different with your pc like a different desktop image or tabs being opened up, you not having control of your mouse etc, then factory reset your pc

@Siwy65915 couldn't tell ya, but in my years of PC gaming, I've never had a single issue with running custom apps. The only thing that happens is that windows defender will block it originally, because it's a tool that wasn't signed by Microsoft ... but just hit "run anyways" and you're good to go

I"m getting a problem in MWR multiplayer where when I launch it, it just automatically tries to load the shaders and then freezes. Already gone in MWR campaign and changed all the settings, looks like they don't carry over to the multiplayer side. Hi! A good fix for the resolution problem that I know from BO3. If you want your resolution or your settngs to stay and not change randomly (for example when I tab out it goes to windowed and my resolution gets messed up) then change the property of the mp text file in your player2 folder to "locked". If you do this then the game cannot change the file settings and it wont mess with what you have at the moment. Hope this helps!

don't worry, i've played modded clients for older cods, they have vac too but i've been never banned. H2M will have its own launcher and servers, so it'll be disconnected from vac

@@MrFloVideo Well it's technically not allowed but they have no way of knowing if you don't interact with steam servers or connect to vac servers, i'm 99% sure h2m will be just like any other mod, sort of in it's own "bubble". Steam will only see that you're playing MWR and that's it. Original Cod4 has been modded to hell and back in the last 15 years and if you don't go out of your way to connect to official activision servers you are 100% safe. Counter-Strike is another vac-protected game and yet there's mods like classic offensive with its own servers and nobody is catching vac since its disabled on those servers. Now if you play h2m and try to inject an aimbot or something into it you might get banned, since you're injecting it into the MWR executable that steam sees so that might trip it off. At least that how it worked with modded mw2 and i've a few hackers get caught on modded ghosts.

shader cache issue. if the game loads up and is caching shaders, click cancel twice. or replace configs and try again

I had the cache shaders problem with a 4080 super graphics card and you just need to disable that in campaign settings and then click cancel when it pops up in multiplayer

The sensitivity feels so off in this game for MnK, I'm on lowest sens but it's so fast even though DPI is only 800 and it seems like the scope has a slower sensitivity. Also is there a way to fix the bug where you spawn and you're holding w but you dont' move?

Can I use the steam controller input instead of DS4 windows? For whatever reason I can’t get DS4 windows to work with my ps5 controller. Only the touchpad worked in game.
