Whenever I look into these, the prices always inspire me to learn to make them myself. They are great, but it's so costly.

I have several of their plugins including the documentary and generally they are first class. There are one or two issues with some of the FX but 99% work flawlessly.

It's always a decision to look at wether the time is best spent doing it yourself or buy it ready made. I have never bought a pack like these. I make my videos with no time crunch. So I can afford to build everything, look up tutorials. All that jazz. If my dayjob was editing and I need to maximize time editing video. I would reconsider and probably buy the ready made thing. But. Until then. I am happy enough doing it by hand. And it helps that I tend to prefer very simple straight cuts or short fades over overly animated "dynamic" titles.

This episode at Timestamp 3:42 really demonstrates a problem that I am having with some of my Motion VFX packs. Is there any way that you can think of to make the line stick to something and follow it while it moves such as that line sticking to the corner of Nick's glasses? I'm not really bothered if the text stayed still or bobbed along provided that line moved with the glasses. Joris Hermans has a Tutorial that sticks Motion VFX Animated Text to a subject while its moving and its done with a Fusion Compound Clip. The episode is just two and a half minutes long. It does the trick but leaves me with problems that are way above my pay-grade. The episode does not really go into what a Fusion compound clip is and I can't find a way to colour grade the Fusion compound clip so that it matches other shots in my project. Motion VFX has solved this problem with a new pack that allows animated Text to work in an Adjustment Clip and stick to a moving subject. This method allows me to colour correct and match my other clips. Can you think of any way that I could adapt an Animated Text like the one you used at Timestamp 3:42 so that the line move and followed a subject? That way I could get extra productive use out of Motion VFX fantastic Animated Text products. Maybe with your permission I could show you the problem I'm having with one of my episodes? Once its seen, it can't be unseen, and its making my brain pop. You never know Motion VFX may like your solution and reach out to you. We can all dream.

Hey Frank. If you have any point parameter in the presets' publish list, you can try to add a tracker modifier into it and track it as any other thing in fusion. This won't work 100% flawless, as sometimes you'll get a weird offset in result, but you can always try to track the point yourself (or ask our support if there is one in the preset you need) - Bart from MotionVFX.

@@bartmvfx Hello Bart I have two excellent packs by your company called "mEssentials Simple 2 DVR" and "mEssentials". Both products are fantastic and do what I wanted when I bought them. However I would love to learn how to get the "mEssentials callout 2" to perform like all the callouts of "mEssentials Simple 2" that can follow and track a subject. I got part way there using a Fusion Compound Clip following a Tutorial but I was stuck with a colour grading problem that I did not know how to solve because I did not understand Fusion Compound Clips. Any advice on how to adapt your excellent "mEssentials" pack to callout and follow a subject would be much appreciated. The pack is excellent and does as advertised, I'd just like to give it a bit more life by adding this feature to it.

@@bartmvfx Hello Bart, is there anywhere I can learn to do what you just said in your first sentence pleases? I'm a monkey see, monkey do person and I did not understand what you said. But I'm willing to learn.
