It was amazing to see especially seeing how squiggly he was at the hands of the vet. He just can't stop wiggling around. But was totally still and silent when he thought there was a potential predator nearby. Seeing him be let go and relax was so nice and comforting.

This is so precious seeing. I still can’t get over how strong their jaws are after seeing it pick up a crocodile out of a swamp and carrying it up a hill. Then u see something like this and so gentle on picking up their little ❤

@@HgHg-yp6ft yeah, they can carry baby rhino's and giraffes. They're no slouch in terms of strength. And even though jaguars are stronger, leopards are far more agile. So I'd say it's a fair trade

I read that big cats will act momentarily surprised or scared when their cubs hiss at/sneak up/pounce on them because it strengthens the babies’ hunting instincts, which of course will be necessary for them to thrive on their own! Like it demonstrates for the cubs that they’re doing it right 😭 I thought that was the coolest thing ever

@@AmandaBabyyyyy That's false actually. Now they do teach them how to hunt, but that myth is most prevalent in lions. People say that make lions act like they're in pain to boost the cubs hunting instincts, but in reality, that lion is a few pesterings away from a mouthful of lion meat. In terms of the mothers, they mostly just tolerate it, and can sometimes play along. Even the big "baddies" have to play sometimes.

Momma is very cautious approaching the tote, especially after it fell off the pedestal. She's making sure that there aren't any booby traps. I'm so happy to see her bring her little cub back into her care. It's so special to see the care that any species of animals take care of their offspring. Mother bears, felines, canids, primates, and many species of rodents-from rats to prairie dogs-have all been seen killing and eating their young. Insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and birds also have been implicated in killing, and sometimes devouring, the young of their own kind. Sorry to burst your bubble but anthropomorphizing animals and being fascinated in nature in its own true beauty are two separate things.

Awesome video. Hopefully this can help dispell the rumor that animals will abandon their young because a human touched them. I saw a deer video on this channel a bit ago where a little girl pet a fawn that came up to her. And most of the comments were ignorant comments talking about how she now killed the baby deer because her mother will now abandon it because of human scent. Animals don't do that. Their motherly instinct will overpower something like a human smell on their young.
