While taking photos of an empty house, an estate agent realises he may be accompanied by a supernatural presence. Maybe some houses should just be left alone…

I made this short film as part of my creative dissertation for university, in order to demonstrate how the conventions of film-making (camera, sound etc) can be utilised to create horror.

Spoilers! So really, the ghost is very safety conscious? She keeps warning him to watch his step, but he just throws himself down the stairs anyway? The final shot should have been the ghost shrugging "I keep telling them, and they never listen...".

A closet is always the worst place to hide. In horror movies it’s the bathroom the closet the kitchen or the bedrooms. Or outside in the dark. Those are always the places where people get killed.

I'm at 1:02 right after he takes the picture... Let me guess... He'll take several pictures and he'll see a ghost in one of them. I'm guessing by the stairs since the guy on the phone just said someone died falling down them... Edit: I'm now at 1:37. I'm not proven right yet but the ghost in the reflection was really well done... Edit: 2:15 still not proven right yet but love the way that the girl in the back was done (casual, not over powering). Edit: 2:47 holy sheeeitz! Edit: Well done! You didn't go with the clique I was expecting with the camera! But he did fall down the stairs which wasn't surprising, considering the title. Hehe.

So yet another good movie with visible ghost. However there are two affected points: 1. 2:05 the ghost can be seen standing waiting for the man to finish taking a photo, only then raises her head and begins to walk towards the window. 2. 2:45 the man simply drops his camera when seeing the ghost, lacking more details indicating his shock (e.g. trembling)

This film was pretty good. Like they said, it can be better with unknown sounds to draw in more suspense. Or something that the actor think he sees but it isn't there. The visual effects were damn good as well. Like how you put the actor in the newspaper but you can make act stunned of why he's in the newspaper. I know that the spirit is going to kill him like how she was killed. That effect was really impressive man and I wonder how you did that. It interested me to know what will happen next as well so great work man!

For the most part it was really good. You took the time to build up the tension by introducing the ghost slowly in the scenes, and letting the music build the atmosphere. However, and this is truly a minor gripe in all honesty, the ending kind of fell flat for me. I like the twist of him finding the newspaper article with him in it but to simply have her standing there with the CGI face and scream just didn't do it for me. Possibly could of gone with her hands suddenly creeping over his shoulders and possibly then the CGI screaming face fading in next to his before the push? I know this was made and posted last year, you're not going to change it. Just trying to give creative ideas if you decided to keep making short horror films. I did share this to my Facebook page for my October long Spook-a-thon. Kudos for the gentleman for doing his own stunt.

This was good!!! I couldn't help but laugh at the parts where he ran into that closet and after the sun went down is when he decided to come out 😂... . But other than that, this was GOOD! 👏🏾👌🏾

It was actually a good story and good sound effects too but I cannot help but feel the full horror impact was lost by the main characters unconvincing acting. This characters timing was off on pretty much all the impact points which made those points ineffective and thus unconvincing, such as: dropping the phone and falling down the stairs for example. One more observation I have is, while in the wardrobe, why could he not text his friend to come and accompany him from the house? Perhaps would have been better for the main character to have lost the phone while running up the stairs with no means to communicate which tandems being too scared to leave the wardrobe. I am so sorry to say it because I am sure you worked hard on this otherwise great video. Just trying to be constructive and I hope you see it that way.

I thought this was a great film, as well as the actor. I think what could be a bit better is having the supernatural woman be more sneaky, just like creaks, bumps, then maybe more towards the middle or end he would hear a bump, look behind him, and there she would be. Overall 9/10 keep up the great work!
