except its NOT horror! alter has some of the best short films on youtube. high production values, good acting and writing. but what is it with your obsession of calling every film a horror film? this was an excellent film. (didn't like the ending though.) but its NOT a horror film. this is more in line with fantasy and science fiction. only about 20% of alter's shorts that i've seen actually qualifies as horror. but you still label them as such. they're still good films. so why misrepresent them as something they're not? just the name ALTER carries enough weight to get people to watch. so why bait them? just label them correctly and people will STILL watch!

O.I. = "Original Idea" This story works well because the short format doesn't require it to have more than its very basic anatomy. The guy at the bar, the bartender, the businessman who walks in, and Chekhov's gun up there behind the bar. If this were much longer than it is, it would have to start answering various questions that would dilute its power. The punch line is also hilarious, where the story ends exactly how the man at the bar feared it would, but with a small wrinkle that keeps him in a state of mystery and uncertainty.
@zer0her0489 ай бұрын
Thank you, that's what it was called. I knew that this type of foreshadowing was some kind of gun. I had to laugh hard, when he shot himself because it was so strongly hinted at. Also the guy is not completely where he started. He knows there are immune people now.

@sefieezephiel98513 жыл бұрын
the idea is death, or rather the concept of being death The human mind can't wrap itself around the state it will be in after death. The idea not only describes that state, but does it in such a way that any listeners views it as objective truth and solution for all of their problems, thus the human brain decides to blow itself up to achieve said ideal state. The reason that one guy was immune to the idea was because he was in a state of euphoria, or perfect happiness, as such he had already reached that desired state of contendment.
